The entire visit with the doctor lasted less than five minutes. I was then sent for blood work. Even though I had fasted beforehand just in case, I was told the specific test had to be completed before a certain time, so I had to schedule another appointment. When I returned for my second appointment after making another 30-minute drive, I was informed that the phlebotomist wasn't there, so I couldn't even have my blood drawn. After two disappointing visits, I decided not to return to this office. To make matters worse, I later received a bill for an additional $73. I spent over six months trying to get someone to explain why I owed more money after already paying my copay. I called weekly, left countless messages, and never received a return call. Because no one would respond, the balance was eventually sent to collections. I paid the balance just to deal with the collections issue, then disputed the charge with my bank because even they agreed the situation seemed unusual. Despite that, I am still being billed for the same charge. Once again, I spent months trying to get answers with no response. When I finally reached someone, I was essentially told that if I didn't pay, it would simply be sent to collections again. No one could actually explain why I owed the money. I no longer have the insurance I had at the time of my visit, and I was also told the doctor I originally saw doesn't even work there anymore. The lack of communication and patient care at this office is unacceptable. Ignoring patients for months while continuing to bill them and threaten collections is not how a medical practice should operate. If they put even half as much effort into helping their patients as they do collecting money, this situation could have been resolved long ago. I will never return and would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a practice that values communication, professionalism, or patient care.

Secondly, before I saw the doctor I was taken into a room to have my vital signs taken, which was fine, but there was a nurse sitting in there busy at the computer, never looked up and said hello, how are you or anything. The only thing she said was to tell the technician which arm to take my blood pressure in. I thought it was very rude and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I really didn't know what to expect. First and foremost, I hate when I feel rushed by doctors. Dr. Ali was NOT like this. He sat there and listened to me talk about what was going on. He didn't rush me at all. He even answered all my questions. You can tell he actually cares about the wellbeing of his patients and frankly, seems like a great person in general. If you're looking for a new doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Ali and his team. Everyone in that office is so kind. Also - the office is super nice and clean, unlike quite a few out here in Vegas!

*This review is for Adult Medicine*…read more Drove my mom to SW Medical today, 4/10/2026, for blood work and a doctor appointment. My Mom has to use her double wide manual wheelchair for appointments instead of her electric wheelchair because RTC Paratransit doesn't pick up in my neighborhood (she lives with me). The manual chair is so wide that she has to stand up and use her walker to get through the doors to the exam rooms, I have to fold the chair to get it through the door, and then, once we're through the door, I open the chair so she can sit back down. It really wears her out. By the time we got upstairs to Adult Medicine for her doctor appointment, she was completely pooped. The nurse who called her back, got two other nurses to assist us getting from the waiting room to the back. After the appointment, there were literally like 5 people- nurses and doctors- who came to assist my Mom out of the room. Two nurses then escorted us to the service elevator and out the ambulance entrance so Mom wouldn't have to stand up again to get back into the main lobby. They also pushed her to the car and helped her get in the car. I just want to commend the staff in the Adult Medicine department. You made my Mom's day. She said she felt like she was getting the VIP treatment. These days, that kind of customer service in medical establishments is rare. Thank you and may God bless you all!

After filling on some paperwork, I really didn't wait too long to be seen and I was there for the weight loss program, which I got a coupon off Groupon and sometimes you never know about that either but sometimes you just gotta take that chance and I'm glad I did! The staff is full of information and if they don't know something, they're happy to find out for you. I watched two little videos made by Dr. Khon himself very informational and then after that I met with the good doctor went over my medical history talked about what my goal was and he's very thorough. He takes his time and answering questions and getting to the main point of why he does what he does or prescribes what he prescribes and I have to tell you he was absolutely a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of Dr. I've seen and felt so comfortable there that I if anyone looking to a weight loss program get the Groupon, first of all and go and see for yourself how amazing he is. He has a wonderful bedside manner very patient. In fact I felt his whole staff was the same way. My weight loss journey will begin and I feel Absolutely wonderful about doing his program. I hope you give him a chance and see for yourself.

i recently gave birth at this hospital and it had started off as such a beautiful experience. let…read moreme preface this by saying i have consent for there to be students in the room and i asked them to explain everything before doing it and they said of course. i got induced so the first two nurses were amaaaazing, i literally loved them so much and think about them all the time. they even stopped by once my baby was born to meet him the third nurse i had was a filipino nurse and she immediately gave the wrong vibe. the first thing she did was try to convince me not to have my a family member in the room bc it's 'weird' and everytime i had a check up or something she would ask him to go to the hallway. i would remind her he was outside and she would tell me he can wait but if he's one of my comfort people in the room, i don't know why she decided to be so against him being in the room. anyways: when she checks how dilated i am she said "let me help you out because you've been here a while" as soon as she removed her hand i felt the sudden urge to pee and i didn't even make it to the bathroom. turns out she broke my water and i immediately felt horrible with her. once my contractions were hardcore she wanted me to stand still but i made it clear i wanted to be up and moving around but she wanted me to stay in bed. i even had one of my own blankets which i was ready to toss out one i gave birth but she moved it and said lets not use this, its going to get bloody. she also had my mom helping her for absolutely everything which i genuinely hated because i wanted my mom there to help me not attend to me. they started me on pitocin and i asked to get the epidural. after i got the epidural, i informed her i felt the contractions and she said no, you feel pressure but i kept insisting that i felt every contraction and she was persistent on saying just wait for the epidural to work. i felt every single contraction and everytime i asked her to hold off on raising the pitocin, she would remind me i had the epidural and i shouldn't feel anything. until i started crying and telling them it hurt so bad she finally called the anesthesiologist and he redid it to which they let me rest. when i got a new nurse, she was super kind and patient with me so it was back to being good. the cleanliness of the hospitals seemed very well. we always had someone coming by to take trash and pick up food trays although once i had my baby and we were moved rooms, my mom was helping me with baby for a bit and a massive roach popped up behind her. we called nurses over to help us out because it had ran behind the couch before we can get to it. my iv also kept beeping soo much at alll times it was the most annoying sound ever and one of the nurses tried fixing it but was unable to so it went off literally allll day during my stay there. overall: nurses were nice except the one that literally disregarded every one of my requests (': debra was one of the most amazing people i have come across and wish her the most amazing retirement ever. i wish i remember the names of the other nurses bc i would love to thank them as well. it's a nice place to give birth but i have heard far more amazing stories at other hospitals.

Turn out I had a blood clot, I have to say thanks to those who work at the operation emergency room. DR. Shah is a great doctor as well. I wanna say thanks to the stuff at the ICU, Specialty. Gina S and Eddie A as well Regine M. They was great to me on my recovery! Also Big George he is a great nurse that cares. In that part everything was well, Let me not forget the two beautiful lady's Sherlin & Irish... But here comes the part that I was frustrated. One of the important process on recovery is resting. That is a failure at this place!! There's no consideration on people, some of the stuff doesn't have any respect. Talking loud at all time of the night!!! The emergency stuff & Doctors as well gets 5 stars. But when it comes to preparation of moving patients from room to room they are terrible. Instead of moving you in the middle of the day they wait to move you at night while you already sleeping that's inconvenience and ridiculous!!! The respect for the patient to rest in the worse times in the life is a 100% failure!!!! I would say if this hospital work on providing better care in those factors would be great.
