The food was honestly very disappointing. As someone who grew up in the Philippines and only…read morerecently moved abroad, I found the prices ridiculously expensive for such small portions.
We ordered the salpicao, chicken steak, fries, burger, nachos, calamari and wings, and unfortunately, not a single dish impressed us. Everything was underwhelming, especially considering the price.
I honestly don't think this is a place that most everyday Filipinos would regularly dine at, given the pricing and portion sizes. It seems more catered toward Western tourists.
On a positive note, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming, and the ambiance was really nice.
Unfortunately, good service and a nice atmosphere can only make up for so much. The food was easily the most disappointing I've had since returning to the motherland. I've had significantly better meals in the Philippines for a fraction of the price.
Overall, definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn't come back for the food.
One thing I genuinely hope is that the restaurant pays its employees fairly. I had a conversation with one of the staff members, who mentioned that they don't earn very much. Considering how expensive the food is, I really hope the management provides better wages and fair treatment to its employees.
If there's one thing this restaurant can genuinely be proud of, it's its employees. They deserve to be valued, respected, and compensated fairly, especially when they're the ones making an otherwise disappointing experience enjoyable.
