Their HH deal is buy 1 get 1 of the same, so we got the pina colada and the Tom Collin's (and got one of each). The drinks are great! We also ordered the pancakes, which were very fun and gave us a little taste of home. I love that the restaurant is a little bit higher up, and faces the beach so you can see the sunset if you come for HH which is just stunning. The servers were friendly, attentive and helpful as well. This restaurant is affiliated with the mandarin nest hotel for ref. They even had a live singer who came out around 6:15 PM and she was great! Overall this is a great find!!

It has some handmade wooden furniture and some chairs and tables outside on the beach too. The location is ground zero on the White Beach path in station 2, and is a great spot to hang out and people watch. It's popular with the Kiteboarding crowd and can get pretty rowdy late at night. Supposedly it's happy hour all day long and the drink prices are the lowest around....Just 50 pesos for a San Miguel. Check it out!

Haha they took that off the menu this time and my GF found the little people so cute so we had to try them again. The service here is great , they don't forget about you after they sit you down. they love photo opts and being on your Instagram. The plates come as soon as they are ready one after the other. They have live music like 3 or 4 hours per night, and would do a Happy Birthday song with the cake if you arrange it. The prices are Boracay so expect like $20 to $30 per person, the food is good and the only place I think they fall short is on the desserts,

The food was honestly very disappointing. As someone who grew up in the Philippines and only…read morerecently moved abroad, I found the prices ridiculously expensive for such small portions. We ordered the salpicao, chicken steak, fries, burger, nachos, calamari and wings, and unfortunately, not a single dish impressed us. Everything was underwhelming, especially considering the price. I honestly don't think this is a place that most everyday Filipinos would regularly dine at, given the pricing and portion sizes. It seems more catered toward Western tourists. On a positive note, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming, and the ambiance was really nice. Unfortunately, good service and a nice atmosphere can only make up for so much. The food was easily the most disappointing I've had since returning to the motherland. I've had significantly better meals in the Philippines for a fraction of the price. Overall, definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn't come back for the food. One thing I genuinely hope is that the restaurant pays its employees fairly. I had a conversation with one of the staff members, who mentioned that they don't earn very much. Considering how expensive the food is, I really hope the management provides better wages and fair treatment to its employees. If there's one thing this restaurant can genuinely be proud of, it's its employees. They deserve to be valued, respected, and compensated fairly, especially when they're the ones making an otherwise disappointing experience enjoyable.

When we got to Aplaya we asked a worker how to get to Battuta and he told me to go up the stairs in the back of the restaurant, and type the code onto the door keypad which is 1001#. We got upstairs and found a very plain white door that blends in with the wall and has a keypad. We couldn't figure out how to get the keypad to turn on so we tried knocking but nobody was getting the door. We were about to go downstairs and ask a worker for help when one came upstairs and we asked him. He ended up leaning over the balcony in their restaurant (next to the Cafe Tropicana sign) and telling someone to open the door. We found out that to activate the keypad you have to lift the black plastic piece at the top and press your thumb into the black circle and when then the numbers appear, the code (again 1001#) does work. Inside - ambiance is great! Low light and sexy, just like any nice speakeasy I would find in Austin. The servers and bartenders (shout out to Cyril!) were friendly and helpful, and explained all the drinks I asked about. They give a QR code to scan for the menu (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MEEjPJ6vuwtFTmLm9MaENTkN85lumwai/view) and do have wifi, just ask for the password. Overall other than a slightly confusing entrance experience I had a 5/5 experience at Battuta and will rate as such! Would gladly come back any time I was in Boracay and recommend to my friends

Their spicy nuts are a good flavor as well. The location is next to Jollibee on the main road - across from the Jumbo Crab restaurant. A+++ Highly Recommend!

The hotel has a quirky, hip vibe and, during the peak season, they have foam parties. Pretty cool! Honestly, I have not booked a stay here. But, I love going here for 2 reasons: a) Happy Hour and b) Swimming Pool! I know, I know. Why would I want to swim in a pool when the sea is right there? Well, during the summer (April to June), white beach shores have algae/seaweed. I've swam in it before. It's itchy and just not nice to wash off. So, when I can, I go for a swim at Tides' pool. They are on of the few hotels that allows non-visitors to use their pool for a fee (Php300). You can swim until closing time at 10PM. Big plus point is their Happy Hour which is from 3PM-8PM everyday! All their cocktails are good (seriously, I've tried them all). Order the Mojito, Pina Colada + Tequila Sunrise (that's a total of 6 drinks) and you can chill by the pool until it's time for your next party! Oh, the food here is quite good too. I recommend you try their Kinilaw na Tanigue (which is a ceviche) and their Cheese Sticks! :)

The good: location is great (right inside D'Mall), outdoor pool is nice, the rooftop bar serves great drinks, and the food is decent. The bad: the rooms are not the best, the bathroom layout is a bit strange (specifically the lack of drainage, so the floor always feels wet), and because of this, we never felt fully clean. Personally, I prefer to stay at one of the Henann Resorts, over Tides. It felt like a 2-star hotel, even though they advertise themselves as a 4 or 5-star hotel.
