Took a quick walk through this market street after checking out Les Catacombes and walked into here on a whim.
A super friendly, adorable, sweet (English-speaking!) dude works here! He really filled us up on delicious samples and was super knowledgeable. He gave us so many tips and knowledge about foie gras, without being pushy at all. After learning we are American tourists, he gave us some tips on what was suitable to bring back. I haven't had that much foie gras or pate, but here, I tried some awesome duck/goose liver--for free!
We bought a few cans and brought them home. It even came with a cute duck woven out of straw! A few months later, they tasted awesome on baguette slices and with beer. read more
