The last few times I have used The Parking Spot, the shuttle to return me from the airport to my car has taken 20-30 minutes to arrive. This time, I checked in and saw there was a shuttle in the airport. A few minutes later, it was headed back to the Parking Spot. I phoned and was told thre was another shuttle in the airport. A few minutes later, that shuttle was also headed back to the lot. I was told that it was full and couldn't fit one more person apparently. (I landed and requested the shuttle the first time at 11:38 p.m. so was tired) I had to call 2-3 times to get someone to answer and although she was informative, it still took 30 minutes for a shuttle to pick me up. They did, at that point, take us straight back to the lot rather than drive around to the other terminals which was considerate.

This last Parking Spot South visit did not go well. The uncovered row we were directed to had zero available spots so we had to look for something empty. Then we had to cart our suitcases to the end of a row to catch the shuttle because they didn't know where we'd had to park. I'm getting over a broken leg so this was both painful and uncalled for. I have reached out in various ways to contact this facility to be reimbursed for the difference I had prepaid for the covered parking which we did not receive. I am so unhappy with this total experience and their lack of followup on this mis-managed ordeal.

I think that Express parking is the best option at DFW airport. Reasonably priced, covered parking (although the car still gets dirty, I don't worry about hail damange when I'm gone) with car-to-door service and the driver will even load your bags in the car on return. I like that the shuttle is almost always at your car once you've parked and are getting out of it. I like that the drivers help load the luggage onto and off of their shuttle. It's helpful that they record your parking stall number on a card for you to put in your wallet. The ride to the airport is usually bumpy par for the course for van-based boxy shuttles. Drivers have always dropped us off where we wanted. Tonight it was at the Hyatt Regency. The drivers have always been quite courteous as well. We always make sure to tip them well for the service they're providing to us. Oh - the North location has a complimentary automatic car wash too. I've used it once. For no extra cost - it's fine. We're well pleased with the service we've gotten from The Parking Spot the past 5 years.

Extremely affordable compared to airport parking and you get extremely convenient valet curbside drop off and pickup in your own car. I can't say enough about the customer service we received from Fabian, our driver. He was very professional and polite. He promptly drove us to the airport and picked us up when our flight arrived, even after we had to change flights home. Also, our flight out was very early, so we arrived at 4am, so if you're wondering if this service will work for you on early flights, it will. We also received emails informing us of who our driver was, when they parked our car after we were dropped off and an email on how to contact them when our flight landed on our return trip back. So my wife called back and no one picked up. They eventually told us where to go for the pick up. Although they said someone would come within 10-15 minutes, the van didn't come for 23 minutes. The van had no outside markings (plain white) older van. The step to climb up into the van was broken (see photo) so it was quite difficult for my wife to climb in and out. The driver was nice, but the telephone service was poor, the wait excessive, and the van was damaged.
