In fact, after my last visit, I saw that they were 10 cents less than the Racetrac a couple of miles away. I rarely have a problem with any of the pumps not working or not accepting my credit card. They have a car wash for $3.99, which works really well. The station has windshield cleaners and even paper towels! I don't go inside the little store, so I can't make a comment about it. When I got to the register, it rang up for twice as much. I politely pointed out the price tag, thinking it was a simple mistake -- but instead of honoring the marked price, the cashier just shrugged and said, "Oh no, the tag is wrong. It's this much." That's not how pricing is supposed to work, and it felt like a bait-and-switch. It's frustrating and honestly pretty shady. If they can't be bothered to update their tags or stand by the prices they display, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of stores around that treat their customers with respect and transparency -- this one, unfortunately, isn't one of them.
