I've always wanted to visit a Buc-ee's and was so excited when one finally opened in CO! Everything was affordable and the bathrooms were very clean. I appreciated that there were red and green lights showing which stalls were open and which were occupied. The workers were very efficient in their tasks, be it cutting fresh brisket, replenishing food items, or cleaning the store. My husband grabbed a brisket sandwich and a key lime pie pudding cup, both of which he said were delicious and again worth the hype. I didn't get anything as I had leftovers from the previous day, but I would have probably grabbed their famous pulled-pork sandwich if I didn't. Late last night, well technically super early this morning (3/11/26), I was approached by a…read morehomeless man inside the store that kept asking me if I had just shot and left someone in my car. I told him no and then he asked my friend the same thing in an aggressive tone, my friend responded with no as well. The man stared with anger in his eyes at us. We backed up until we were able to go down a different isle and get to a different part of the store. The man that was working at the time asked if he said or did anything weird to us and if we were uncomfortable, I told him what the man had said and that I was honestly pretty scared. The worker then told the man that he needed to leave. The man refused over and over again and started yelling. It wasn't until the worker had threatened to call the cops about 5 times for the scary man to leave. The man working made sure we were okay and also made sure we made it to our car okay. I wish I had gotten his name, but I would like to give that man that was working a shout out and a huge thank you! I didn't know what was going to happen in that situation but he did a great job looking out for us and made me feel so much safer and protected.
