They say it's because of the homeless in the area although neighboring businesses don't seem to have the same level of deterioration. In fact, my 240k-mile Subaru has been run almost exclusively on Costco gas thanks to the proximity of my work to a Costco Gas Station. Valero is typically $.05 to .10 cheaper than the rest of the stations in town, and that's good when you're living on a budget. You can also pick up firewood, windshield washer fluid and other assorted sundries as well. However at night this place becomes a hobo boxing ring.
