My mom (56) and I (33) came in and asked for a pack of cigarettes for my mom, the lady asked for id but my mom doesn't have one as her purse was stolen, so I went to the car to get my id, when I come back in the lady wouldn't accept my id since I'm buying for my mom. Now at this point my mom is having a nicotine fit and I'm trying to get her smokes but this lady refused to sell even though we are both very clearly over the age of 21. Worst customer service. Had issue with receipt printing at pump. I paid for a car wash so i needed the receipt. Went inside and they said i wasn't charged for car wash so I paid for the wash. When I went to pump, the amount I paid in gas didn't match the receipt they showed me to show I didn't pay. 40 minutes later....had to explain what happened multiple times...which would be fine had one person let me finish a sentence without thinkong they had it all figured out only to realize they didn't. Manager was finally called over. Didnt say 2 words to me to try to understand what was going on. No sorry when they finally figured out I had indeed been charged twice for wash. read more

Nicest associates at this location! Went in this past Tuesday (San Antonio ice day) because I'd forgotten potato chips to go with a dip I'd made. I didn't want to go to HEB and chose Valero as it was on my way home around 4pm. The young lady at the counter gave me a friendly "Hello!" as I walked in. I found the chips I wanted and for a great deal got 2 bags for $6 (Oh yeah you can find pretty good deals at your local convenience store, just go inside!) Makenzie, the associate, kindly greeted me when I came up to the register and asked me if I found everything I needed. She checked me out quickly and shared a quick funny tidbit about her ice day as she rang me up. She had me walking out with a smile! read more

Love this store it's the cleanest one that I've been to. Everything is super organized and they are good at making sure things that are expired are thrown away before any customer ever sees them. Super clean bathrooms and clean feeling just from walking in the store. Parking lot has no trash on the floor anywhere in sight. Good variety of snacks and items, amazing place for convenience. Employees are nice and helpful. The only reason I give this store 4 stars instead of 5 is I know the management makes the employees slave away. As a customer though he place is nice read more

This is the second time in this store. The first time the cooler was verily stocked and they were out of cartons of the cigarettes I wanted to buy but never offered to sell me 10 loose packs for the price of a carton. Today they had no hot food. I realize it is a holiday but do they not think that people would still buy breakfast items? Disappointed they were not even apologetic on either of the occasions. Whoever does the hiring for this location is doing a fantastic job. The employees are extremely friendly and very polite. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door. There are a couple that really go out of their way to be helpful. One of the employees bags my cups of ice at the dispenser so I don't have to try to carry 5-6 cups to the register. Now that is great customer service! Even their customers are friendly, but that just goes to show how nice the people are from Boerne. Their womens restrooms are always spotless. The gas prices are usually the lowest in town (sometimes Walmart beats them by a penny or two, but not always). They are definitely lower than all the regular gas stations and all the other convenience stores. The low gas prices are only at the Boerne stores, the ones outside of Boerne are usually higher. Their sausage dogs are great, 2 for $2. The fresh kolaches and breakfast burritos are good too. They have the best price for milk, $2.99 per gallon and the expiration dates are usually 2 to 3 weeks away. They have a great selection of snacks, candy and household items. read more
