When going on weekend drives down 46 (and when in the Boerne area) we usually stop here. The restrooms have always been clean and the employees are pretty friendly. There's also a small train set off to the right when you come in although I've never seen it running. From what I've read, the Old No 9 route disappeared a long time ago but the history 'remains in the spirit' here. If you're a traveler or not familiar with the area, they also have a rack in the back of the store that holds brochures for things to do (I think most of the information is for the Hill Country if memory serves).
