stopped by here to get gas, ask for directions, get road snacks and use the loo. I have to say I love these small town gas stations. Not only are the people super friendly but they sell items unique to the area. This Valero located between 76 and Nottley Dawn Road was squeaky clean and sold fish bait. Cool. Towards the front there was a pizza kitchen that sold pizza...unfortunately I just ate otherwise I would of liked to try their pizza... Absolutely horrible customer service, a good 60 percent of the time. No matter what time of the day or night you go to this Valero, the employees are lingering around outside smoking, acting oblivious to the customers, just rude and hateful. If you are going to smoke, then you can itleast be polite about it. Also, on one occasion several weeks ago, one of the employees blew the smoke from her cigarette she was smoking right into my face. Especially since the outbreak of COVID-19, the employees do not even need to get close enough to blow smoke into someone's face. Besides the health concern, that was just disgusting. I have now stopped going to this Valero after yet another bad experience that I had today with yet another employee. I do know there are two professional employees who itleast used to work here a few months back, though maybe they moved on to a more professional environment, I hope so, they deserve better. read more

I have been a customer at this gas station for 14 years. Never have I ever been treated so poorly and like I was nothing. I went yesterday, January 5, 2021, to cash In a lottery ticket, get a drink, and something to eat. I go in and get my drink I get my snack I gave the girl my ticket I think it was worth $20 cashed in. So I get purchase a $10 ticket and with the fountain drink and my snack the total came to 13.72 So.... I had $20 I won on a lottery ticket that went towards my purchase. My total purchase came to $13.72. So with my $20 towards that I should have received in change back to me $6.28. I of course was in a hurry wasn't paying attention and the rude girl at the counter tells me I owe her $3.72. So I pull out a five dollar bill and hand that to her and she gives me a dollar and some change. I start to walk away and then I think about it there's no way I owed her money. So I go up to the counter and I tell her that that was wrong not so much in those words but that I did not get enough to total $20 worth. She starts to get really angry she starts raising your voice she starts arguing with me. I told her I said how much is my ticket worth she said $20 I said so I got a $10 ticket I got a fountain drink and I got a danish I said that in no way totals $20 I said my ticket was worth $20 she said she's not dealing with this she slammed the drawer through her hand up in the air walked into the kitchen area and I said I need my money back. She kept spouting off smart remarks and I said finally I need to talk to a manager. I then find out that the manager has been standing there the whole time doing nothing to intervene nothing to help the situation. So he finally comes over to the counter and so does she and the lady comes up behind me and I'm standing at the counter and this girl that works there said "excuse me I have customers you need to move over" I looked at her and I said "well what am I?". But this time I was really not in a good mood and I told the manager I said this is ridiculous I did not get $20 worth of things plus on top of that I paid her $3.72 more than I should have with a five dollar bill after that he could not add it up he could not figure it out so he tells me that I have to wait till the morning for him to cash out the drawer and if it's over he'll call me. He still hasn't called me he was rude she was rude I have never in my life been treated so rudely especially in the town I live in not to mention no one somebody that takes money from customers and can't make change and that's going to act out like a two-year-old having a temper tantrum. The girl that always normally works there wasn't there yesterday this girl looks like maybe she's 17 years old she's rude she's mouthy she's got an attitude and she didn't know Wade needs to be working with the public are working with customer service or anything like that. Not to mention she decides to run her mouth and talk about me to her customers after she thinks that I'm gone and I won't know it but living in this town you know lots of people.
