I take it home one got opened and fine. The second one I got the complaint from my family that it tastes off. No one realized that it is Marlboro select not light which is way cheaper. They never give you a receipt or even offer you one. I went to my bank statement and sure enough I was charged for the 2 Marlboro light. I pass by the store and one of the clerks said he will call his manager her name is Maria. Maria said they cannot exchange it since it already left the store. Well dear Maria train your employees or at least offer a solution since cigarettes are expensive and to top it off wasting gas coming back just for that nowadays is expensive too! Too bad they lost a customer. Too many convenient stores around which will be going to from now on... beware!

If I give her anything else, she throws a hissy fit and grumbles a bit after I've put her to bed. Today she was very thirsty, so I went here, which is almost always on my way to wherever. Talk about pain at the pump! The one occasion I had to deal with an employee it wasn't the greatest experience. I had to call to get the hours, and she said she got off at 10:00 p.m., and didn't know what time they closed. She seemed totally uninterested in finding out. I now know it's open 24 hours, but only because I made it a point to look at the posted hours.

I loved coming to this place regularly for food but do not want to return as long as this woman is working here. The Valero a couple miles down the street offers better service and sold us the drinks we wanted. If you want good service and polite people then skip this place, just drive on to the Valero.

We searched for a nearby drive thru car wash and this shell came up. We bought gas and proceeded with the prepaid code through the car wash. This is a touch free car wash and did not remove any of the bugs. Then we checked each pump for a squeegee to clean the windshield. Only one pump had a squeegee and the water basin was empty and the squeegee was dried out. I had a bottle of water in the car and we used that. This was a horrible experience and a waste of money. At least we were able to get gas.

The store has undergone some changes in the past year, so some turnover is expected (especially considering the type of company- eing a gas station and all.) I must say that there is one young female clerk who seems to usually work the afternoon shift who is exceptionally rude! She fails to acknowledge the customer, is anything but polite, and makes me feel as a consumer that I am a bother to her. No "Hello", no "Thank You", no nothing other than "receipt?" This 1 employee aside, this is a great little country store with wonderful employees! I hope they stick to their sign about hiring "happy, friendly people".

On the weekends they cover up the different gas options and only allow you to purchase the expensive supreme. Nothing is wrong with the pump, they arent out of the other gas. So if you do fuel here and they have the signs up. Just press the button of the one you want through the plastic sign and the pump will still give it to you. They just wanna gouge people traveling on the weekend. Please see picture of pump and receipt showing the sign, and that it is possible to still purchase regular gasoline. I drive a rental from Toyota of Beorne, and they charge to refill the cars they loan. Im not interested in filling their cars up with supreme.

Because of the location, there's not a lot of traffic around and no panhandlers or loiterers like at other stations off of I-10. I will not stop at a gas station if there are riff raff hanging around. My husband is firmly convinced that Shell is the best gasoline, and this conveniently nearby. My absolute favorite thing about this place is the orange tabby who has taken up residence at the store. He is always out front to greet customers, usually perched on the windowsill outside the store. I keep forgetting his name, but he would make a good mascot for Shell!
