She orientated us to the space and offered us beverages. The waiting area was intimate and welcoming. Amanda & Kimberly came out to greet us shortly after we arrived. They were both affable & personable. Once they assisted us to the space we briefly went over massage type & pressure preference. We enjoyed the intimate space and lighting. We were able to enjoy some much needed time just being present with each other as we sipped Prosecco during our foot soak. The local toffee we had were divine! The robes they provide are comfortable & great quality. I enjoyed my massage with Amanda. She had a great balance of fluid movement with firm pressure. We both thought the temperature of the table was just right & relaxing. I definitely felt myself falling asleep. My husband fell asleep. My husband enjoyed his massage with Kimberly. He said that she is skilled & worked out knots he didn't realize he had. He appreciated the amount of firm pressure she applied. He said he felt like he could do gymnastics afterwards & was pleased that he could feel the difference hours later. Our entire experience was rejuvenating. We're booked for July & looking forward to returning. Mahalo nui loa!

Terri works with you and your body where it currently is and supports the goal for a healed body. She also has a beautiful touch, calm nature and pure energy, optimizing your own energy to bring forth your best intentions and reach your own success. I've worked with Terri for this past year and I plan to continue treatment because it's one of the best things I can do to support my body and reconnect with my inner healing. I'm allowed to relax, recharge and come away with a renewed sense of who I am as well as reconnect with my body. I've had migraines for years and working with Terri and the continued work I have at home, I've been fortunate to not have one migraine all year! Terri also is gifted to support work with animals where I have been fortunate to have her support my elderly dog. I was able to hear feedback and work with the information she gave me which has both improved my dog's quality of life and quantity. I recommend working with Terri if you need support in body work and energy work. Whatever ailment you may have, try to work with Terri at least three times and see if you feel better, are able to reconnect with your body and personal goals. My bet is, you'll benefit from her talents and be a little closer to good health!

I find it odd that some of the negative reviews are from individuals complaining that they were offered too much (too thorough of evaluation etc...), or annoyed because they were expected to be responsible for paying for services rendered. I guess if you don't love great service, feeling healthier, looser, and aren't responsible, this is not the place for you. I came across Harbor Foot Massage on Yelp, saw the great reviews and decided to give them a try. When you walk in there's a small lobby and you have the option to either have your massage in a private room for an extra fee or out in the general area with possibly up to five other guests. The layout is six massage beds, three rows - with two side by side. My husband and I decided to go in the general area, which at first may seem off putting or uncomfortable but really wasn't because everyone is focused on their own peace/quiet/relaxation. You have a towel over your eyes for added privacy/relaxation and the soft music in the background makes it feel like you are in your own world. My masseuse was Ana (for the majority of it) and she was great... applied the perfect amount of pressure and focused on my problem areas in my feet. The Second Lady was good, a little softer with her technique, but moving forward I'd request Ana. My husband and I decided on the hour long foot massage, which also included a full body massage. The employee spent more time focusing on my feet, as I requested but my husband enjoyed the more in depth massage he received. Overall, for $45/1-hour, I definitely recommend and will be back weekly!

I saw Dr, Skedd several times, initially for menopause, which she seems unprepared or unfamiliar…read morewith enough to treat. Each time I saw her she seemed frazzled, unorganized and unable to retain the information from our previous visit. Since I had already been prescribed medication from a previous medical doctor for menopause, when I asked what her treatment recommendation would be, she literally said to me "well I don't want to step on anyone's toes to suggest something else." I was absolutely stunned. Your job as a doctor is to put the health of your patients first. Period. Not cater to the ego of whatever doctor I have seen in the past. How bizarre! At least once she was 20 minutes late and not only did she not acknowledge being so late, she acted as if I was the one who was late (with an irritated sigh stating 'well we don't have much time so lets get to what we can'). I was baffled to have my time cut short while seemingly being blamed for it because I know she saw me in the waiting room, right on time. (Yet I was charged for a full visit of course). Also, she only works part-time so anytime I would have a question for her I would have to wait days for a response, and on one occasion I had to email twice and call twice to get a response from this clinic on a specific dosage request that was time-sensitive. The end result is that Dr. Skedd made my health worse. After being diagnosed with SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) she told me she would have to prescribe me with an antibiotic that would worsen my condition, and then another antibiotic that would worsen it still (or at least not help) before my insurance would agree to pay for the actual antibiotic that would help. This is not medical care. This is medical injury. She also misled me about the cost of the SIBO test. She said I would only have to pay $100 which I did in office and then I was billed over $200 additional after the fact for the test. Thankfully I found Dr. Joy at SISU Health who contracts with a Canadian pharmacy that is able to send me the exact right antibiotic prescription for $100. Dr. Joy also knows how to treat menopause. My health has improved under her care. I recommend Dr. Joy highly, she can be reached at SISU Health 253-549-9216.
