I've been wearing glasses for about 40 years and this is probably the best experience I've had…read more First visit was great. Doctor was attentive and thorough. Ordered 2 pairs of progressive glasses and they worked from the get go. Didn't have to send back to adjust. This is a first for me. Definitely recommend,

Ugh......I thought I would give these guys a 2nd chance. 6 months ago, I followed up asking if my…read morecontacts had arrived after placing the order 3 weeks before and the response was: "thanks for calling bc we forgot to order them", so I waited another 3 weeks using one contact for driving and sports. The 2nd chance was today when I spoke to Amanda at Noon to order my $1,300 frames and lenses that were already picked out in September on file and I had finally saved money to pay (I have a horrible astigmatism and -13 prescription hence the custom made lens price). Like the past experience, there was no follow up by their sales lady to take my credit card number so at 6PM I popped into Hakim Optical in Milton and with their promotion I bought TWO sets of frames/glasses with custom made lenses for $400 dollars less. Alisa and her doctors are professional but her Team at the front desk are tripping over each other with no Customer Service or Memory. I guess I should thank Milton Eye Care on Holly Ave for these 2 experiences bc it saved me over a Grand switching to Hakim Optical.

I have always had totally excellent…read moreexperiences from the full spectrum of services---from the front desk, from vision testing by technicians, from detailed examinations and consultations with Dr. Laura Thomas, and finally when purchasing lenses and frames. My daughter has had the same experiences. Dundas Optometry Clinic is, in my experience, unique. All the doctors are women (I am a male). There is an atmosphere of warmth, cooperation, efficiency, dedication, and total competence that pervades the whole office. Even the selection of magazines in the waiting room is diverse and of excellent quality. I choose to drive to Dundas from central Hamilton to attend Dundas Optometry Clinic. I repeat that over a period of 13 years I have had only the most positive experiences from this important health services clinic. Sam Robinson

I was shopping around for contacts (for the first time), and made a great choice…read more The customer service at Vincent Optical is just about as good as it gets. Their store design is great, well layed out, and they use very modern equipment for eye measururing etc.. He took a good amount of time to show me, step by step, the process of wearing contacts (starting with videos on wide screen monitor and then 1:1 personal training). To top it off, I paid a very reasonable, competitive market price for the brand and quality of contact lenses I purchased. Finally, he aligned my pair of glasses , and even replaced the nose pads with some very comfortable silion ones -- at no extra charge (yes, I did ask to pay for them). I did not even buy the pair of glasses from him, and the extra generosity is appreciated!

I was first referred to Dr. Apfelbeck because I was having problems with my eyelids. They performed a treatment that has made such a big difference. I was also impressed with all the great frames. I was told there is no warranty at all on them since I received a bogo offer. To say the same woman was that was amazing when purchasing was rude and offensive when I came in with an issue is understated. I was told I could purchase new frames if I wanted to but other than that they would not do anything for me. To top it all off I was told I purchased the glasses over 2 years ago so basically why was I even there? When I went to purchase new glasses from a reputable optician it was discovered that my glasses were only 14 months old so I can not use my insurance for another 10 months. My glasses are on my face all day and kept in a holder with plush lining over night so they should have lasted years not just over 1. Horrible product and customer service at this establishment.
