I usually go to Eyes On King in Waterloo but got new glasses here at their other store as this location carried the ones I was originally looking for. I was originally looking to buy a Gucci frame, but ended up getting a Jimmy Choo instead. Price was fantastic (as is the other store, and you can check out my review for it). Staff here were honest about what works and what doesn't and made excellent suggestions. I would recommend anyone come here or the other place for glasses. They have a wide range of glasses at different price points, so I think anyone could find the perfect glasses to fit their budget. read more

The staff is fantastic - they are very sweet and honest. In all that time, I have never had anything less than an amazing experience. I just picked up my glasses a week ago and I LOVE them. Christine was amazing with helping me find a pair of glasses that suited my personality and and actually fit. I usually have a very difficult time finding frames and within minutes found a pair that fit and look great! Thank you for a wonderfult experience! Had a great experience with eyeview optical. Glasses are a great price, great customer service, and when I was unable to come back to the city for a couple weeks they rushed to get them done for me so I didn't have to wait a long time. I didn't buy my glasses here, I got them at another local shop run by a family member of the owner of Eyeview. They do the lenses at this location, though. Between the great people at the shop I got them at (Eyes on King, uptown Waterloo) and the awesome folks here, I was able to pick them up at this location in order get my new glasses, and prescription sunglasses in time for a weekend that was to involve quite a bit of driving for which I was glad to be able to see clearly. It was so generous of them to go out of their way to make sure this happened. So while I didn't actually get my new frames here, I really thought they deserved a good review. While I waited to pick up the glasses, I did some browsing, and they also have a really great selection of frames. read more

This store is horrible. The employees are so dishonest, they don't show prices and then overcharge for models from 3-5 years old, they provide mismatched cases that don't even properly fit their glasses, they bash other local providers to their customers ... you are getting ripped off and swindled big time by going here. read more

Tried to call eyeview optical, got answering machine with no mention of business name. I thought I called a wrong number, checked the number, called again and it went straight to the fax machine. What kind of phone service is that for a business is out of my understanding. About 3 mths ago my dad was taken by a relitive to this store by mistake as we deal with the Waterloo location.When dad came home and mentioned how the store looked different we realized that they went to the wrong location. I called the same day and cancelled his order for $170. "No problem", the girl said, " it's cancelled". This week my dad got a rude call from a collection agency to cover the cost. Wow, I have dealt a lot with seniors in financial business and know how worried they get with calls like this. I called the Eyeview and not sure it they sorted it out yet or not. I think it will make an interesting case for small claim court. The order was cancelled, never completed, no phone call to pick up glasses, no phone call from Eyeview Optical for outstanding account balance, no letter from collection agency but only a direct phone call from collection to sort out the account by 4PM.
