We had looked for 3 months to find a fence installer that still did wooden fences. After searching…read moreand reading reviews ( which need to be read with care ), I decided to go to Bruce fence. Melissa in the office was fantastic and very personable, went through the options I had looked at, gave me the good, better, best run-down, and helped with an initial ( ballpark ) quote. We set up a date for the next week for Will to come get a site review. He arrived right on time, listened to what we wanted to do, and then proceeded to measure, make notes, and head back to the office to work up the quote and email it to me. The quote was received in 2 days, and I went to place a deposit that day. The installation was set for 2-3 weeks later, but they ended up having a hole in the schedule and were here in a week. The installers were to remove and dispose of the 136' of existing fence, and then put the new one up. Initially estimated to possibly be a 2 day job. The crew arrived right on time ( crew of 3 ) at 8:00 in the morning, re-walked the site, confirmed the placement of the posts, and proceeded with the work. One member of the crew went about removing the old fence and digging the new post holes, and the other 2 placed the posts and sections of the fence. They seemed to work straight through, with just a break for lunch and one or 2 short breaks. Levels were used to make sure that the posts were placed correctly, and when all was done ( by 4:00 pm), the new fence was in. I walked the fence with the lead foreman and pointed out 1 or 2 things which were rectified right away. When they left, there was no trash, yard waste, or leftovers to dispose of. BUYER BEWARE: This company paved my driveway in May 2023, and the asphalt failed during the first…read morewinter--less than nine months later. Since spring 2024, I've repeatedly contacted the company by phone and email, hoping they would stand behind their workmanship. Instead, I've experienced more than two years of unanswered calls, broken promises, and repeated inspections with no resolution. In 2025, salesman Joe Reehl inspected the damaged driveway and said he would discuss repairs with the owner once L. Browe was working in the area. I never heard back. I continued calling and emailing. In May 2026, another employee, Joey, met with me, assessed the damage, and said someone would contact me within two weeks regarding repairs. No one did. After another call, I scheduled a second inspection with Joe Reehl on June 20, 2026. After looking at the driveway again, he told me, "I'll speak with the owner. It's his decision." Once again, I never received a response. In July 2026, after yet another call to L. Browe, employee Gabrielle Boomhower told me she had heard they could "patch the damage" but understood that I didn't want a patched driveway. I replied, "That's correct. Patching a driveway that failed because the base wasn't done properly doesn't seem fair to me." (See the second video.) A driveway that costs tens of thousands of dollars should last around 20 years--not less than nine months. Gabrielle then gave me owner Lorne Browe's cell phone number and suggested I call him directly. I did, but he never returned my call. I want to be fair: the paving crew's work ethic was excellent. My complaint is not about the crew--it's about the company's refusal to stand behind its work after the driveway failed. Mistakes can happen on any job. What matters is how a company responds. After years of phone calls, emails, inspections, and lack of follow-up, I am warning people so they don't end up in my position. The work was sub-par, leaving me to repair the mistakes this crew made during install. Wood fencing/chain link was installed at my home - posts are bent - crew split posts with their nails with no repair - left a few fence post holes half filled! This is on top of the severe attitude problem this crew had!! WOW - I cant even explain how poor this experience was. The owner simply said he cannot control his crew. As a paying customer I did not feel comfortable asking this crew to return to my property to repair the issues I was left with, as I am concerned they will just make more damage being angry. We had asked for 3 issues to be addressed after day 1 of install. These were not unrealistic requests - we simply wanted a good job to be done for the money we were paying. Exercising terrible customer service skills - the owner just talked over me as I was expressing my concerns, and his reply was "It will be fine" and "This is how I've always done it". At this point I had to get my fiance involved (an expert contractor) because the owner was not listening to me, and showed disregard for my concerns. It seems that the other "go to" response is an A+ rating on the BBB website - well, beware of this rating. The experience was awful. And in the end I still have to repair the items I asked to be addressed on day 1. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

I wanted to say thank you to the Chain Link Fence Connection for a great job that they did on the…read morefence in our yard. Our old 6ft cedar fence fell down during a storm this past winter. The owner (Bryan) came out to my home and measured the job and then emailed my estimate shortly after. Their pricing was very reasonable and I gave him the go ahead to do the job. Bryan and his crew installed a new cedar fence and also a run of Jerith aluminum fence. They came out and did the install within a week after I gave him the go ahead. Both the cedar fence and aluminum fence are first class and we are very happy with the look and quality of the materials. As far as the install, the fence is perfectly straight and plum. I have a trained eye because I am a machinist by trade and the first thing I look for is for things to be straight and square. Overall we cannot be happier with the great job that the Chain Link Fence Connection did on our fence.

After many phone messages, finally they told me everyone was on vacation! What a dumb thing to do for a paving team on vacation in the busiest time. I took time to go to their address of 25 Corellies Ave. They were not there. The other businesses told me to go to the office on Columbia Tpk. I went there. For God's sake, why don't they change their address? Their address is still 25 Corellies Ave. I sent detailed texts to the owner, Jason Hanziger, with photos of my driveway for a free estimate. He completely ignored me. Don't use those highly advertised contractors.
