She uses terms that non-lawyers (regular folks and even my mom whose first language is not English) can understand, and my favorite part about interacting with her is that she doesn't make me feel stupid for asking questions.. even if they're crazy or ridiculous questions. For example, I asked something and she answered without judgment, "I personally haven't seen that but I can ask my colleagues." But there was not an inkling of judgment in her tone or making me feel dumb for not knowing. Norma, the paralegal and notary, was so helpful and kind when we went in person to sign, as well. I love that despite operating in a pretty, clean office, that the attorneys and staff are very accessible, not pretentious or hoity-toity. They know their stuff but aren't going to make you feel like you need to be a big fancy multi-million dollar corporation to get legal services.
