It was in one of their private rooms and it was very chef driven. Everything was delicious that night so we had a really great experience on the weekends in San Diego and we're trying to enjoy the weather. We usually head down to either Carlsbad or Encinitas walk around with our dog and kind of see where the wind blows us as far as where we're gonna go eat or drink that day or night. This time it was a weekend morning on Memorial Day weekend we had gone to get some coffee around the block, walked our dog and then saw union kitchen and thought we had a really great experience last time. Let's see if they're open. They were open for brunch. They have both a covered patio and uncovered one and my husband being the redhead that he is we opted for the covered patio. They're super dog friendly. All of the waitresses were really awesome and kind they came over to say hi to us even if they weren't the ones helping our table one of the waitresses even brought my dog bacon, which we so appreciate love a restaurant full of dog lovers. My husband ordered the cornbread skillet that comes with andouille sausage and I think roasted okra. He said this was really delicious. I tried a few bites and I totally agree. I had the steak and eggs which was delicious with its mustard hollandaise sauce. Coffee was great, OJ was fresh and tasty. Will have to come back for dinner one night.

I would give them 0 stars if possible…read more The engage in severe predatory pricing. I ordered translation services through their website for Spanish to German, and they quoted me for $29.99 per page for two pages ($59.98 total). Then, a person emails me that the rate is incorrect, and that I have to pay $69.98 per page, indicating that I have an outstanding balance of $79.98 to pay so they can translate my document. I immediately responded and expressed concern of their lack of transparency. They did not apologize for the confusion on their own website, and they offered to "reduce" the additional cost to $40. This led me to understand that this is their typical predatory practice, which they use to price gouge people that need translation services after they've accepted a quote from their own website. It is concerning that this company fails to provide transparent pricing upfront. To all, avoid this service at all costs!
