First, they do not have an appointment service. That means that if they are open Mon-Fri from 9 to 5 pm and if you show up at 1 pm, they are supposed to serve you. Well, it does not work like that. You can show up at 1 pm and be turned down because they have a "lot of work". Not only did I show up on a Monday at 1 pm but also I called first and talked to a rep. She just advised that I should not show up on a Saturday. The rest of the days were fine. After having this experience, I went on and read the reviews and left one myself. They do respond to the reviews real quick, of course, always justifying their poor customer service. In the end, that is the Cuban mindset. They are doing the customers a favor and you need to pleased and not complain.

It was an excellent trip and fortunately our group of fourteen was compatible and interesting. The ten day itinerary was packed full of beautiful and interesting locations including cathedrals, ruins, fishing villages, vineyards and several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We hit all eight regions of Sicily during our tour which began in Palermo. We explored the area around and in the capital city including Monreale and Erice. Leaving Palermo we traveled in a large tour bus with a local guide from Catania who was with us throughout the tour and spoke very good English. Globus was the carrier. The bus was perfect for our group of 14 with plenty of room to move around. We traveled along the western side of Sicily to Marsala, Trapani, then south to the Menfi region where we visited Azienda Agricola Barbera vineyard and winery. We visited the Valley of Temples in Agrigento, then on to Ragusa, Modica, Syracuse, Catania, Savaca and Mt. Etna. I highly recommend taking a trip with Karen and Frank. They really make it memorable.

I was told that we are allowed to call the cruise lines to book our customers and to confirm anything that needs to be confirmed naturally that's the way things are done. ummmm duh...yes thats what agents do call the crusie lines...I WAS scolded for having had called the cruise lines to confirm stuff for my customers really? I was told that I was making the cruise line you look bad because I was calling to confirm stuff my customers.. the owner of preferred has no clue what she's doing. But not preferred travel of Naples they slandered me and defamed me behind my back to the cruise agencies and several of my customers I should have sued for damages but I never did.. I will not be pursuing anything legal but I just wanted everyone to know the stay away from this place they are bad news There are so many other agencies out there to deal with...STAY AWAY!!!

Neither of us are savvy travel coordinators with time zones, nor do we want to be, so Julie's quick bookings are so appreciated.
