Second time I texted her to confirm my appointment because I had to leave work early and I was somehow nervous that she wasn't going to be there. Sure enough I was right when I texted her to make sure she was going to be there. She said no sorry I'm in Seattle. With no other explanation at all. She had a salon in Barrington Arboritum & now has moved to Asha Salon in Woodfield. I Would never recommend her. Unreliable & does not take her business serious.

Here's an update to the owner's response as you can see before…read more Yeah, I did put makeup on. The lash lady told me not to put makeup on for 24 hours and that's what the owners are arguing. But I put my makeup on exactly 24 hours after I got my lashes done at 12pm. They're claiming that since I wore makeup, that is why half of my lashes fell off the next day. But in direct response to that, half of my lashes fell off WAY BEFORE I ever put makeup on. In fact, the second after I got into my car after my Deka appointment, I looked into the mirror to see eyelashes on my face already. Not even 5 minutes after leaving lashes already started falling off without me laying a finger on them. How can you say it's my makeup that loosened the lashes when half of them were ALREADY off before I put makeup on? I didn't shower or get my eyes wet before the 24 hours either. I went to a local lash place and paid another $80 for refills. You want to know what my lash lady said? She was shocked at the job that the first technician done. She called it sloppy. She told me that they did a messy job and that the lashes were so far from the root that they were all hanging off, hence why they all fell off. I'm not that upset at the complimentary fix being taken away from me. I thought the lady told me any time but if that's not the case, then I apologize for that. I obviously heard wrong and that's not on you guys for taking my complimentary fix away. That still doesn't change my review of a 1 star though. I'm actually glad they took my complimentary fix away because if I got them done at Deka lashes, they would have fallen off the next day again. So I'm glad my appointment was considered a no show and I was forced to go to a place that actually knew how to do lashes.

You work with their group directly who then contract out hair and makeup stylists for your trail and day of services. If you are someone who likes direct contact with a stylists this may not be the route for you. HOWEVER! They offer very low minimum spend (5 services) and no charges for travel as long as your getting ready location is in the suburbs. This was perfect as I had a small bridal party and minimal family members interested in getting hair or makeup done. Also, their prices were very competitive. I worked with Sam for makeup! Sam did a great job asking the right questions, applying the right looks for people who usually wear minimal makeup, and checking in to ensure what she was doing was liked. Everyone felt very much like themself and makeup lasted all night. For hair, I worked with Alex! Between my trail and wedding morning, it took Alex and I some time to get to my final wedding look. She was patient with me but had some difficulties interpreting my vision. I can 100% say that it was all worth it in the end because i LOVED my hair. I felt like myself and it held all night. My other girls also enjoyed their hair and really felt heard by Alex. Lastly, I recommend to Style on Site to shoot for consistency with their clients. Having discussions with my friend, the offerings and accommodations were very different between our two experiences.

She keeps my hair looking super healthy and is such a sweetheart. I like getting around 1" give or take cut off for healthy ends. She is very skilled as far as her precision goes and great at guiding with her expertise when it comes to shape and length. She also gives great product recommendations I should mention! She cut my face framing pieces perfectly, and my hair is very even, thick, and healthy looking each time I leave her chair. She preps the hair thoroughly and gets it pin straight to achieve a flawless cut. My hair is 3b texture naturally , but I always blow dry and silk press it a day before my appointment. I personally like how much more even my cuts come out when they are done on fully straightened hair, because then when it is curly again it looks better than when I used to get devacuts and curly hair cuts. Not sure if that's because curly hair has a mind of its own but I take very good care of it so it's not an issue with maintenance, haha. If you have curly hair I recommend trying it! The ambience of this salon is professional , clean, accommodating and spacious. The front desk staff ladies are wonderful and polite they acknowledge all the clients who walk through their doors with kindness. I like that they bring you a drink of water when you arrive if you want one. It is quite a busy and happening salon so I like to visit on early week days before noon. I think $80 is a good price for a perfect haircut and shape up- mind you, pricing varies slightly more or less based on the stylist you select. Spa Bleu also gives rave-worthy facials. I have purchased and re purchased for my mom on many occasions and she says this spot is her favorite because of how relaxing and long the facials here. She says it is her special spa for when she wants to treat herself extra if she is not visiting her normal cosmetologist that month. Her go to treatment is the 1 hour Custom Tulasara Facial 60 Min, neck & decollete, and LED Therapy add on with Paula! Try out Spa Bleu if you are looking for a great haircare and facial spot! I have PCOS and it affects my weight(185#) and weird hair growth. I have anxiety which has caused other problems. I NEVER thought I could do something like this. Just talking to the lady to schedule the appointment was terrifying but she made me feel comfortable. Trying to walk into the building the day of the appointment was a whole other challenge. I talked myself into it and made it in through the door. I was greeted by the most kind women that assured me it would be a great expierience. One thing that helped was to know that they all had to expierience this when getting hired. They all know the feelings I was feeling that day. My make up was beautiful. I'd wear make up all the time if I could make it look like that! Then came time to take "it" all off somehow I did that, too! Once they started taking pictures it was so easy! She told me where to go, how to pose, where to put my had/arm etc etc. I couldn't believe how comfortable I was wearing nearly nothing! I ended up purchasing all of the photos at the end on a drive. Was it expensive...well yeah. They work hard! Was it worth it...100%. My husband's reaction was priceless. 1st thing he said was that he's always seen these on facebook but never thought I would do that. For his 30th birthday I had surprised him with a trip to his first michigan game and bought him an authentic jersey. I wore that jersey for part of the photo shoot. I also took a few other photos in a bralette and panties. My advise...if you ever thought this would be neat but not sure if you could then just do it!!
