Don't go there if you're disabled The front desk lady who is around 60 years old looked at me disgustingly when I first came in, either because I have a disability or because of my color, even though when making the appointment, I made sure to let them know that I have a disability. At first the ableist and racist lady told me that they can accommodate me with the x-rays as long as my transportation can help me get on the x-ray machine. Once my Transportation agreed, she immediately said that they cannot do it. Long story short, the point I'm trying to make is that the ableist and racist lady was trying to find excuses not to serve a disabled, colored person, but when she ran out of excuses, she said that we cannot see you over here and just go to VCU Richmond if you need dental help The ableist and racist lady said that she apparently talked to Dr. Minhas and she said that I cannot be seen here, but I really don't think that she even went to ask her and she just rejected me because of my disability and color. Basically one of these two scenarios is true 1 Dr. Minhas who I have never seen or talked to before apparently told the ableist and racist lady that I could not be seen in the facility because of my disability Or 2 (most likely) The ableist and racist lady never talked to Dr. Minhas and decided on her own that a person with disability should not be seen in her facility because of her hatred for disabled people and people with color Basically, this is a highly racist dental office that discriminates disabled people. The racist 60 year-old lady at the front desk refused to tell her name There were two other people on the front desk who saw the whole racism and ableism play out, but did not try to stop or intervene the ableist and racist lady. Basically by doing nothing, they encouraged the racism and ableism being displayed and carried on by their ableist and racist coworker. My most recent visit I wasn't feeling 5 star-ish because I felt like I was being judged, and noticed some behind the scenes chatter. I came in because my tooth had been hurting, a tooth that was given a care plan for months ago. I hadn't been back to the office since, and I think that's why I was being judged. I haven't been back because my father passed away months ago, I fell into a depression and haven't really been taking care of things like my tooth being tended to. So I apologize for coming in months later, seeming as if I wasn't following instructions, or coming in when I was supposed to. But hold the judgement. Thank You. read more

I have had problems at every dentist. I've been to, they didn't acknowledge When I spoke to other dentists I have extreme pain in my mouth with my teeth. WOW fantastic dentists, they worked as a team, I go in there doing extensive work, and I don't feel anything for the first time in my life. Yes, a little soreness from the injection site. I wanted to have all my teeth just polled I was too afraid of having them worked on the staff here all work together to give me many options. I'm keeping my teeth. they are doing a fantastic job. I go Once a week, I can't believe it. i'm not lying Painless root canals. Before this Dentist, I couldn't stand to even get a filling. I had already had a previous filling go bad and they removed the old filling and tooth. The procedure was painless and then replaced with an implant stint, still painless. The doctor did an outstanding job and was very courteous. Since then my other crown failed and I luckily get the chance to do this All over again with an amazing staff. I highly recommend this group of doctors and staff for all your dental needs. trust me, I do not enjoy the sounds of drills and needles in the mouth, but if you have to go this route GO to VA smiles. This place is a scam.... There a chain and they are out looking for one thing$$$$.... The girls at the desk have the no clue what there doing .. They send in all these diff dentists to make something seem wrong.. You go in for a cleaning and come out needing all kinds of MADE UP things done... I heard of this place from word of mouth.. I've been coming here for over a year. I had horrible previous dental experiences and was terrified of dentists. This place is the absolute best there is! They're fast, efficient, and very nice! They do a fantastic job and don't leave you in pain like a lot of dentist I've had before. I would rate them 10 stars if that was an option! read more

I came in for an extraction. I was scared at first and didn't know what to expect. The dentist Dr Minhas was very friendly, and made me feel calm. Tooth came out, no pain at all! I am very pleased with the care I received. I highly recommend VA smiles and the dentist, it is very hard to find good dentists like this these days. read more

When a toothache started I was able to get into be seen quickly. Every visit has been professional, with that being said the staff, Dentists have been great very gentle and caring. The treatment plan was detailed and they were able to work with my finances, no surprise to the cost. read more
