We have talked to the owner since then they said they "talked" to this man and it's solved. Yet he is still working there, has not apologized at all to my boyfriend's mom. Even thought the owners claimed he has. The owners are not taking this seriously. We've been left with no choice but to make it public. I have a very hard time believing this is the first time he has made a comment like this. It says a lot about a man to comment on a women's body in an inappropriate way, especially while with her kids. . My boyfriend's family have been coming here for years. We don't feel comfortable sending the kids or even any of girls over there anymore, and it shouldn't be like that. We believe this man should be fired.

The bad review praised/suggested la pico sita which is basically the best Mexican food in santa maria. Agreed. But, even la pico is questionable in standards. Best Mexican food is from mothers, grandmothers and aunts. And I promise you their methods aren't 100% sanitary. Even horrible national chain Chipotle failed with their "standards" ... I'll take love and respect over defrosting meat next to dirty dishes in the end game results. I say that with a grain of salt. I would prefer best practice, but when it comes to food, Mexican food specifically... there is a gray area. No one wants to get sick because of bad practices. But... ive thoroughly vetted l&k this week... and they were consistently on point. Felt good after each meal, like I walked out of fine sushi joint. Their sign says do not bring wine from next door. They should make it say do not bring beer OR wine from next door, especially if their staff is rudely yelling at paying customers to leave over it. I also recommend they train their staff how to properly handle a dispute with a customer. I spent alot of money at this place over the years, but thanks to the older blonde lady with the attitude problem, they will not be getting any business from me or my people anymore.

They don't serve food, but they welcome you to bring your own, and there's a food truck plus restaurants right across the street, so you're covered. The real highlight was the bartender. My husband described what he looks for in a beer and without missing a beat, he recommended two perfect picks -- Peaches and The Able. Both were spot on. That kind of attentive, knowledgeable service is rare and it made the whole experience. My husband loved it so much that we stopped back on our way home to grab a growler and a 4-pack to bring to his dad. That says it all. We'll absolutely be back.

Brian and Kimberly made us feel like royalty with six full tastings and a beautiful charcuterie tray. Everything paired well beautifully - the Chardonnay and Pinot Grigos were excellent. We bought six full bottles to take on our getaway to Cambria. The location in Lompoc is amazing with a huge warehouse, full kitchen, and comfortable tasting room. It is in an industrial park, but it is in a non-crowded area with lots of parking which is a huge plus. Yes, it is an hour out of the way from the 101, but it is a beautiful drive both ways and so worth the stop! Full disclosure - Brian and I attended junior and senior high together. But, honestly, he makes fabulous wine and has a state-of-the-art facility. Brian and Kimberly provide top-notch customer service and hospitality. I would recommend all of my friends stop for a fantastic wine-tasting experience. They have spoiled us for any other wine tasting!

Miles is a boring drip and he doesn't really know as much as he thinks he does about wine. But I do love Pinot, and Loring makes two of my favorites from the Clos Pepe vineyard and from Garys'. Luckily, on a recent visit to their new location in Buellton, they had both the 2016 versions of these wines in half bottles, full bottle for Clos Pepe. Ive been an acquaintance of Brian's for 20+ years as he first sold his wines to a wine group I was part of back in the late 90's, early 2000's. Now I see him occasionally at a charity event I've gone to previously. I admire how he pursued his dream and became a Santa Barbara rock star. They do more than just Pinot, and this visit is also more than just about wine with lovely locally baked shortbread cookies to pair. You wouldn't think it, but it's a great choice. The new location is next to Industrial Eats restaurant and makes for a great combo visit of wine and food and cookies. I prefer the two pinots above, you might find other pinots, or the blends or the whites more to your liking. All at fabulous price points too. Highly recommended :-)
