    Bootleg PS3 controller

DO NOT GO HERE. Four reasons why you should Just go upstairs to Slackers or buy what your looking for on eBay. 1. They do not keep an alphabetical catalog of games behind the counter. All the games are in the original cases on the shelf in the dimly lit store so anyone can just take what they want. 2. The store is huge and there are only 3 - 4 people working at all times, but when you ask any of them for help they will just tell you if they don't have it on the shelf then they don't have it. 3. The selection of official console hardware is very minimal. I came in for a PS3 controller and one associate told me they didn't have any if they weren't in the area where the controllers are located. Then the associate proceeded to get flustered when I asked them to point out where that was in the store. 4. THEY ARE SELLING. BOOTLEG HARDWARE. After being directed to the ps3 controller section and seeing there was in fact nothing g there, I decided to pick up a PS3 copy of BO1 and check out. When I was checking out I asked the associate at the register, a completely different associate, if they had any PS3 DualShock 3 controllers. They claimed to have one officially licensed, I was shocked but figured they we're probably selling me a real PlayStation controller. They will sell a used one for $40 and a brand new in box one for $45. I was excited and bought the controller only to get home and realize I just paid $45 for a officially licensed PS3 DualShock 3 controller's packaging and not an actual PS3 controller. Not to mention the controller had a black scuff mark on the bottom left right after I took it out the box. So clearly this was not a "brand new" controller. PLEASE DON'T SHOP HERE. JUST GO UPSTAIRS TO SLACKERS.

Review Visit: October 5th, 2013…read more Music. Movies. Games. Debt. Let me preface this by saying that I love what Slackers offers. They have a huge selection of video games and as a gamer, I love that. They also have a wide variety of stuff between movies, cds, anime, posters, figures, and whatever else you could be looking for. Now the negative aspect. What I do not like are their prices. I am thrifty, so when I am shopping used video game stores, one tends to get a general idea/feel for what things should be priced at. Slackers tends to price everything above Market Value. Whether they do it because it is a college town or because it is a bit of a nicer area... it seems to be working for them. I love swinging by when I visit my friends in the area, but I hardly ever purchase anything since I can find it for a lot cheaper where I live. Any who, they really do offer a large selection of everything. I love the fact that most of their SNES-era games have boxes on the shelves. Nostalgia kicks in looking at some old gaming boxes. The games don't come with the boxes, as they are store displays. But still cool to see! I will try and snap a few photos the next time I go and update this post with them. It's a great place to scratch almost any nerdy itch you have, but it does come with a premium price. If you are in the area and are looking for something a bit cheaper on the video game side of things., check out Grumpy Bob's Emporium a few miles away. If you need more of a geek fix (board games, figures, comics), you can pop over to Heroic Adventures. It is literally a 2 minute drive from Slackers.

Im talking hot fresh everything popcorn, pizza, burgers, hotdogs, and more. New school old school gifts and bbq. Whew! Its so much to see and buy we stayed in this store about 4 hours or more. Im talking about juice, cake and pies hot fresh goodies. Wait fountain drinks ahhh. Its like a gas station on steroids mixed with a candy shop but hot fresh food. Expect anything everything but no rides. It was 32 of us total and everyone left with several bags. All of the ladies loved it. Its been a week since we all piled in for the birthday shopping and I still have bags of cotton candy and cookies in my refrigerator. The brisket bbq sandwiches was my favorite. The pink strawberry lemonade cake I enjoyed that to. We all stood in line for the fresh cooked popcorn. The kids liked the cat in the hat books. The toys with the little ones was exciting to see all the kids grabbed a toy and a book. I noticed my husband had a huge fresh healthy salad I think it was a chef salad but it was big enough for like 3 people to eat. With the power YELP has given me as a elite I proudly issue out a billion stars to ollies

They whole back of the store was various rugs, and pretty great condition. They had a lot of name brand goods and when we went, a lot of holiday left overs that didn't sell. Lots of beverage type, cleaning materials, hair and body care, kitchen appliances, clothing, electronics - honestly, so much! There was also a book section, which we picked up a lot of options for our little one to enjoy for less than $3. We will have to come back again to look at rugs for our bedroom.
