She proceeds to cut my nails extremely short then use a metal tool to chip and scrape the gel off aggressively. Leaving my nails soft and damaged with huge divots! She didn't soak the gel off or anything like you are supposed to. You would think she would know better being a nail tech. Don't go here. read more

This is the second time I went there and it will be the last. I arrived and she pointed to the polishes. i picked out a color. She pointed to where I should sit. She never said a word to me. She was on ear pods and talking to someone the whole time. I thought it very rude.. She never talked to me until 2 minutes before she was done. Very rude. No one else was in there. Made an appointment for my elderly mother for a pedicure a week and a half in advance. We were both on the phone so we know we had the correct day and time. The person in the shop when we arrived was doing nails for someone, and claimed we didn't have an appointment. She kept repeating "You confused" and did nothing to resolve the situation. I used to go to V nails All the time When V was there she did an amazing job I stopped going when her and her husband left town I decided to go again cause I needed to get my nails done and it was awful she didn't fully remove my old nail Polish she dug at my nails she was very rude unprofessional when she did talk to me didn't listen to what I wanted done if I could get this negative stars I would I politely didn't handle it at that time as there waz other customers and that's not my Style but I do plan on going back talking to the owners. Never in 20yrs of having my nails done have my nail beds hurt and 2 nails come off within a week and my nail beds still hurt. I deserve a refund and apology. read more

I was a walk in on Saturday. Waited a long time over an hour. The girl did a great job taking care of my feet and legs. The actual polish was much to be desired. I could tell she was stressed. She didn't take off the old gel... She was talking on the phone while she was doing my nails. I asked her to remove all the old gel, she argued with me, saying something I really couldn't quite understand I have splits down the middle of two nails, she left them, not fixing or repairing them. Two days layer gel is peeling off on one nail. Sorry, I didn't find her kind or polite and certainly not professional. My nails are actually shaped nicely, and pretty even (french), but I have the splits down the center of two and some of the top coat on one nail is coming off already after two days. I understand we are all human, make mistakes, and have bad days. But when a customer asks you 3 times to remove the old gel, and you argue as if the customer is completely wrong and out of her mind when it's plain to see and feel, I ll go find someone else that may listen and not talk to her sister during my manicure. read more

The male and female workers continued to yell at each other and ask what we wanted. When we told them they told us they couldn't do it so we left. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I needed a new set, because I am going to back to school soon, and I decided to go somewhere new! ( V nails) and it was the best decision I ever made. My nails were better then I ever expected! I wish I could give zero stars. This was the most horrendous experience I have ever had getting my nails done. To make a very long story short - this experience ended with them telling me to leave their salon! Now the story....It started with not having my appointment at the right time and being rude to me when I walked in the door telling me I was late. It progressed from there with a pedicure where the polish on 1 foot did not match the polish on the other foot. I was blamed for picking a polish that she had problems with. I am not quite sure how I would know that as a first time customer? After that we sat down at her table for her to remove the nail dip from my nails. I tried to explain to her that my nails were very thin. I suggested something that my regular nail tech in another state does for me. She stood up and told me that I had to leave her salon. They then started scolding me that I was rude and acting like a billionaire! Now here's the best part! I found another salon in town called Fashion Nails. I was talking to some other customers in the salon about my experience just half an hour earlier. To my surprise three other ladies in the salon spoke up and told me they had the exact same experience at V Nails! All were told that they had to leave for various reasons, including that the salon was closed before their treatments were done! It is hard to believe that this salon has any customers. Save yourself time and agony and avoid this place. Getting your nails done is supposed to be relaxing, not stressful. Go to Fashion Nails instead. Great owner and very nice nail techs. read more

I'm shocked, really... I never have seen nothing like that! It was my second time in that place. First one was pretty Ok my manicure and pedicure were made by male employee... But second visit was terrible!!! The manicure made a woman owner: she from beginning was so RUDE! She jut told: "sit", "put hand here" with no even trying to use world please or something . Whatever, when she was doing manicure she first removed my jell from nails. She did not wait enough time so it was very painful and harmful for my nails. After that she did everything very brutal. I had feelings she hurt me purposely OMG... Let me catch my breath... When She put my hands under lamp and time never was same it was depended if she done or not with other hand. I ask her redoing color because I didn't like it, and she said: "No, you pick it not me"OMG.... someone explain her how rude it is to said something like that to customer. When she was done with nails, she did not put any lotion and our she left my hand so dry and just started to do another manicure. I even not sure if she washed her hand after work with me... Another guy-her son I think came and put some oil on my nails. God blessed his heart ... That was rude, humiliating, bad done. I use to like getting my nails done here. The owners left town without telling their customers. When I called to book an appointment with V because I wasn't happy with the last mani I got from someone else I was told they would take care of me. The new people running the place trashed my nails. Instead of soaking off the gel polish I had on my real nail they used the sander to get it off. They took too much off and now my nails hurt, they are useless, and almost all of them have broken ( I don't remember the last time I broke a nail) definitely not a happy customer!
