I just returned for a Christmas gel manicure last week. Tressie did a great job. The manicures here are always well done & last 3+ weeks. My only negative is that they tack on a $3 sanitation fee to every bill, and that was added during the pandemic, which was understandable when they went above and beyond with what they had to buy for safety and cleanliness. But sanitation is the nature of a salon business so I wish that that extra $3 fee was not still on there because sometimes it's added into the final price I'm given and I've tipped on it, which in my opinion is not right. I was also surprised that it was an extra $7 for cat eye gel. I do totally understand the extra for nail art, but waving a magnet in front of your nail for a nano-second, $7 seems a little excessive. But I'm guessing it's because that polish costs more than regular gel. Anyway they do a great job here, but they are pricier than other salons in the area. I advise booking well in advance for holidays especially, as finding a walk in slot here is tough.

This might just be my new regular salon for manicures! I found this salon on Yelp while searching…read morefor a place that did hard gel or "structured" gel manicures. Some friends of mine go to a salon in Lawrenceville and rave about both the salon itself but also how much they prefer it to dip or acrylic. I wanted to find somewhere closer to my office but was having trouble finding a place that understood what I was asking for (ie, not a gel manicure, but this hard gel). I stumbled on Elle's Beauty Bar during my search and went to the website to see what I could find out. The website was extremely helpful; it explained the different services and what each consisted of. FINALLY!! I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. When I got there, everyone was super friendly, even the other patrons. Kristina did my manicure. I explained as best I could what I was interested in trying. She explained what it was and answered my questions. That done, I showed her a picture of what I wanted to try: a French manicure with each finger a different neon. She was all for it, and we picked out the colors. She asked to see the pic again, and I showed her. I didn't even notice at the time, but later I realized she looked at the photo for like 30 seconds and copied it EXACTLY. The order of the colors on my hand is the same as the photo! I just thought she did it randomly and it totally didn't matter to me either way. What attention to detail!! I love the way they turned out!! Fast forward - I was unable to get back to the salon for a whopping FIVE weeks. And while the mani wasn't looking 100% at that point, it had only completely chipped off of one nail. This was 100% my fault for waiting so long, but I was impressed with how good they still looked, all things considered. I've been back twice since my first visit, and I'm sold. The ladies here are lovely, easy to chat with, and the manicure does not disappoint. Highly recommend this gem tucked away in Cranberry!!

I made an appointment and as soon as I walked in and sat down, she tried to get me to try a different service. Before she started my nails she got up twice to do different things at the cash register, whatever. She seemed nice enough but, my nails were atrocious. I asked for almond, she did stilettos. They were uneven and wonky. She didn't even build an apex to strengthen the acrylic. They were thick at the ends and thin at the base so you could see where the tips were. She also over-drilled my natural nails to the point that I have a spot that was almost through the nail. The tips curved down so, they looked like claws and not in the good way. I have no training and do a better job than she did. Do yourself a favor, go to Sally's and grab a diy kit. It's far cheaper, you don't have to make an appointment, and you can learn from a few youtube videos and get a better mani. I don't know who the people with positive reviews got but, it certainly wasn't the person I got. I was so disappointed, I didn't have time to fix them and people noticed how bad they were. I could have cried. To be clear, I could have cared less about the service if the nails were good. They were not. I could have cried.

I've never had that happen before. Their policy is it the nails were done there, fixing and replacement is free. I was made to pay for 1 of the 2 that popped off. I didn't want to see like a "Karen," so I paid for it. Also, I got my lashes done. I don't think they were done properly and were very uncomfortable. I had them taken off, and she tried charging me $20 for removal instead of $10 because I had gotten them done there. She was really rude to me the last time I was there. I was really excited to go there because of the Google review rating, but I'm not satisfied. Please make your own choice to go, but I will not be returning. I knew there would be a disrespectful reply and that's not a good business look for you. All of my nails have popped off from the back. Meaning they're not done correctly. I have always gone every 3 weeks because my nails grow slow. The timing is irrelevant. Your page says if the nails are done at Happy Tips and Toes, they are fixed for free. The rudeness of Emily during my last visit was unacceptable. I was also supposed to get $5 off my last visit, and didn't. Learn to take criticism, and stop being jerks to clients. Another thing, I was there on January 6th, around the time they opened. No one was there. The guy that did my nails said everyone went out and was hung over. How awesome for a business! I can keep this editing thing going forever. I kept gojng because YOUR NAILS KEPT BREAKING. Currently, my middle finger on my right hand popped off. So right now, your business is at 0%. I will continue to post this review everywhere I can because you don't know how to offer an apology and move on. I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET $5 OFF. That's why Emily made me use the ATM, and pay cash instead of card. Just sounds like a way for you to scam the government on the taxes you owe.
