From the start to the finish, Rob and his team went above and beyond to help me with the process (making it as smooth as possible) and offered the best rates and lowest fees on the market. He and his staff were always available for any question, big or small, even on weekends. They were amazing to work with and my "go to lender" for anything financing in the future. If you're looking for a great mortgage broker or lender, look no farther than Rob McCarthy at 101 Loan. He's the best!

Rob and Renee did a great job helping us buy our home. I appreciated the time they took to explain…read moreall of our options on how to obtain financing. During the offer construction process, where minutes counted, we were able to get on the phone with Rob quickly to discuss strategy and make adjustments to make sure that the loan wouldn't break the bank, so to speak. When the offer was made, the team also lent their support to reach out to the seller and reassure them that we were in a solid position to meet our obligations. Going with Rob and Renee gives a level of extra service and responsiveness that can go a long way in a competitive market where time, relationships, and market knowledge count for everything. During the contract process, they executed everything smoothly and seamlessly, resulting in a drama-free transaction. Overall, we were very satisfied with their work.

I had one of the worst experiences here working with a lender. I will not name her due to respect,…read morebut she was not very good in communicating or double checking every one works. The underwriter is horrible as well they made me write statements for the wrong amount about me paying my taxes. First of if you do not know what the closing cost will be then just telling me, I had other lender give me a list of what the fees will cost and this lady just said it could be 40k in closing cost. Now this is during the first conversation I had with them. My heart dropped already because 40k is a lot and that will cut into my home renovations. She kept emailing me about getting these files in right away or this will delay the process within barely the first 10 minutes. I had uploaded all docs within a few hours. At this point buying a new home is already stressful having her push me and talking about delays is putting more stress. She kept asking for more docs over and over. I would have hoped she had given me the list in the first place instead of asking me for the extra docs almost everyday. When I wired the money to my escrow she emails me back with why are you wiring money from an account we have not validated, this bank she was talking about was the bank of the escrow company not mine. Again not reading and putting more pressure on me. After a long 30 day process everything was completed and I get a call from her boss asking me about my experience which was horrible. She told me shes part time and she had over 11 loans to work on, this is not an excuse for bad service if she is over loaded then tell me and I would went with someone else. Fast forward to today. I now get another email from her about a document that I had already provided I'm sure shes lost from the 100s of documents she made me send and it would be easier for her to make me resend it then to look through everything. TIP: Make sure to get someone experienced, Ask them about the process. luckily my closing escrow was 30 days. If this was 17 days I would have been F'd.

Had terms agreed in writing with Lee Chieng. Uploaded all personal financial data within 24 hours…read more A ton of them, including W2 and tax returns. Lee Chieng emailed back: "sorry, we cannot offer you the deal we agreed. But you have choices! a) pay off $70K more of your loan, b) give us $1000 more for closing cost and a 0.125% higher interest." If you were me, which choice do you make? The third one: walk away and never trust them. I told Lee that I have multiple properties and I disclosed the exact number. And when I questioned why they walked away from their offer after I uploaded all financial data, her response was: "we have a pricing engine. We go by what the computer says". Then what do you do besides the computer, Lee?? My guess is that the market rate has changed in just a couple of days and they are walking away from the deal. This experience really leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Stay away from Adeline and the team. No apologies, no concession, nothing!

We have worked with Lucy Mcguire on getting a mortgage loan for the house we purchased - although…read moreit wasn't an easy deal and there were many hurdles along the way, Lucy had efficiently helped us overcome all of them and complete the deal two weeks before the projected time - we also had to refinance one of our houses as part of this process and she again demonstrated an outstanding capability to run all those deals in parallel successfully A few months later we wanted to do a HELOC on our home (Get a line of equity) - Lucy used her connections and influence to smooth up the process for us and found creative solutions to resolve several problems we faced during the process - this is what I call a value added service! I Highly recommend her work and professional and dedicated approach to everyone thinking about going forward with a real estate financial transaction

In modern interviews, he sits there smirking and laughing about the psychological torment he inflicted, treating real human trauma like an old high school theater production. He didn't suffer a psychological breakdown caused by 'the system'--he made a conscious, calculated choice to play a sadistic movie villain. By his own admission, he weaponized real-world fraternity hazing tactics that had been used on him, choosing to perpetuate a cycle of abuse the moment he was handed a shred of authority. He actively escalated verbal degradation and forced prisoners into sexually humiliating positions, all while claiming it was a 'mini-experiment' or a 'favor' to help the researchers get data. To this day, he seems completely detached from the lasting damage he caused the prisoners. He treats his cruelty as a fascinating piece of personal trivia, laughing it off because he managed to walk away, change his name to David, and build a comfortable life in corporate finance while never facing any real public accountability for his actions.
