You do have to pay to use the lockers (2 francs, given back to you when you leave), for the robes, and towels etc. I do like that once you check in, you get a bracelet that you can scan to utilize the facilities, as well as charge your expenses to - including the cafeteria! My favorite spot had to be the rooftop pool. It's a gorgeous view and very relaxing. I would love to find a place like this back home. Not super crowded on a weekday, and definitely a hit with couples. They do not allow phones here, but I still managed to snap a picture or two of myself on the roof and in the spa. Staff will call you out if they see your phone but there were also plenty of people snapping photos when no one was looking. It does seem pretty invasive in this serene environment, but they can't blame you for wanting to capture the beauty! The thermal baths and the steam rooms smell of lavender and other herbs. We stayed for two nights and we had an exceptional view from the hotel room window. Our room was very nice with a big bed and lounging couch and nice bathroom. The hotel is in a perfect place for walking around the city. We could walk outside and directly to the river, that was so pleasant. We noticed the locals were jumping into the river to swim so we decided to do the same. It was brisk and refreshing!!! I overall loved visiting Zürich, it's a really cool city, and staying here was just part of that enjoyment. The Thai restaurant White Elephant was delicious and so awesome to have in the hotel.

This saved us a lot of deciding where to eat and we could grab something quick when we didn't want to walk to a restaurant. The hotel staff was all very kind and helped us out a lot.

While I was there on business, it's certainly somewhere I'd love to return to on vacation.

Upon check in the front desk agent walked me to my room to show me all of it's amenities and to make certain I was pleased with the accommodations. Which I was (see photos). Room was set up as a suite with a sitting area that had a nepresso machine with all accompanying sugars, creamers etc. a fully stocked complementary mini bar (non alcoholic) with sparkling and flat water, juices, etc. also some chocolates and potato chips to munch on. Free WiFi made working here a pleasure. King size bed, flat screen tv, Bose wireless speaker that synced to my iPhone. Beautiful view of the countryside with the city center in the distance. Excellent breakfast was included. Lovely bar area with a bar bites menu where i had an assortment of tartares. Complementary shuttle to/from Zurich city center (about a 10 minute drive). Everyone from the front desk staff to the shuttle driver to the bar and restaurant servers were lovely and most remembered my name (I was only there 2 nights). There is a gym and spa on site as well that I didn't get to experience. Although this hotel is not within walking distance of any of the Zurich tourist attractions, I would come back here any day and take the quick shuttle to the city to take my walking tours and then return to the ultimate Luxury of the countryside resort that is Atlantis by Giordano.

I can't stress how clean this place is. I also chose this place due to its proximity to the Zurich HB central station. It is a quick 10 minute walk to the station which has direct trains to the airport. It's in the heart of old town Zurich and you do not need any transportation to see all the sights of Old Town and Bahnofstrasse.
