We went there today as we had a voucher for the Sunday brunch. We weren't seated in the restaurant (as per pictures on their website & our voucher) but in a small room up the stairs which looked more like room for business meetings, no charme or decor whatsoever, but a mouldy or dirty ceiling and office tables & chairs. The buffet, which was described as "gourmet brunch" was really disappointing. The scrambled eggs were a solid, dry and cold mass (we arrived there at 11:00, so it couldn't have been "old" as it starts at 11:00 and half of the chafing dishes were empty), the bacon was soggy, greasy and cold as well, there were some kind of omelettes in a chafing dish, which were spongy and tasteless . The rest of the buffet was okay, nothing special though. When we went back to our table we noticed that our cutlery and one coffee cup were dirty. When the waiter came to our table (btw there's no fresh coffee or tea served, there was a pot of coffee at the table when we arrived and there's some tea to get in self-service) and asked us, if the food was good so we said, not really. He then took our plates, laughed sheepishly and walked away. It was very strange. So we got up and left, we didn't want to wait for the dessert buffet, as we were sure it was equally unimpressive. Before we left we peeked into the restaurant and were quite shocked to see that it was very nice like in the pictures and we asked at the front desk, if there was a reason why we had to sit in this charmless room upstairs, which clearly did not belong to the restaurant. She just said, that no, there was no reason, some people get seated in the restaurant and some upstairs but there's no difference in the food on offer. Overall it was a very disappointing experience, I would not recommend it to anyone. It's a beautiful spot, definitely worth a trip but bring your own picknick. read more
