The job was finished inside a week, and within budget. There were a few things that needed further attention and he sent a crew back out the next day to address them. His crew worked with my wife on site and were very nice to her (I appreciate that). I won't hesitate to use High Country again when we need dirt work done.

This is quite the impressive library in downtown Yakima!…read more A lot is changed in downtown since we last lived here roughly 15 years ago. Growing up, we definitely underutilized the libraries in town, but being away in areas where libraryuse was encouraged and where the activities there were sought out, we figured it was time to check things out in town. The library system throughout the valley is very impressive. Everything from Sunnyside on up to Yakima is well integrated and they have much more to offer than I previously appreciated. At the downtown branch, there is a lot of stuff to see and do! Just to the left after entering is a kids area with some toys, educational materials and lots of kids books. In the room past that, there's a sitting area for reading as well as plenty of computers if there something that you need to get done thereor if you just need Internet access. I believe it's a one hour time limit but it can be re-upped if needed. They have access to tons of different journals, online catalogs and even a couple of very industry specific programs. It's a nice option if you don't want to pay for such things at home. The upstairs is full of more books including a very impressive cookbook section. It's nice to have that option to grab one and try it out before buying. The folks that work here are incredibly pleasant and very helpful. In the summer times they even have a number of STEM related programs and activities for kids. Growing up here, I had no idea that these resources were available within the library system. Now that we're back, we're going to make sure that we utilize them!

You don't want to work here! I notice another review which posted listed as "Not Recommended"…read moreOh.....it is MORE than recommended. Management discriminated against individuals with disabilities....STAFF....which is really messed up. So called manager know nothing about their supposable "forte" of why they were even hired. Bring up many concerns regarding just blatant harassment against me.... nothing was EVER done. And then they wonder why they can't keep an individual in that position within that team. Teamwork is non-existent....me against them. Don't seem to be able to utilize common sence....a phrase "yeah but theoretically you don't really need to take a bath/shower everyday" was twisted into me stating the resident does not need to take a bath/shower everyday.....unable to utilize common sense to which "You" was being utilized as a generality. Got yelled at by a supposable manager who stated, "she would have not ever hired me" Would not allow DSHS (who they are funded by) access to determine the issue with my working difficulties. This was way before COVID. So when I reacted in same attitude, she tried to back pedal. Just find somewhere else to work would be my highest recommendation! Literally told to resign since I was having difficulties, instead of moving me to a different position.

Jim from LJC Excavating did a great job in record time. He was very knowledgeable and brought up things I never would have thought of and worked with me to get everything right. I feel like I got the best job at a good price from a company with excellent integrity.
