Once you order, get ready for great food. I ordered the sashimi deluxe, my wife had the peppered chicken. The sashimi was outrageous! Huge slices of tuna, whitefish and salmon, expertly presented. The Seared Ahi was fresh and cold... perfection! The rolls were also great and fresh. We had the Tiger & Crunchy Tuna roll, both deep fried and the classic Bang Roll. We haven't had a bad meal here, EVER! The waiter hustles hard for restaurant and does a great job making sure everyone is taken care of. This is our GO TO sushi spot, every time! For our last night of vacation, we decided to have dinner here. We hadn't realized it was in a strip plaza, so walking in, we were a bit underwhelmed by the lack of ambiance. To start, we ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers--shumai and spring rolls. I really enjoyed the shumai, but my husband wasn't a fan. We then decided to give one roll a try, planning to head elsewhere for dinner if it didn't impress us. We ordered the Fire roll with steamed shrimp instead of tempura shrimp--and wow, it was fantastic! We ended up ordering four more rolls and left completely stuffed. Well we were met at the door by the unpleasant smell of sewage. My dining companion insisted on trying them anyway. We both had fried rice with steak. The amount of beef in the bowl for the price of $22 was disappointing. Our server had recommended it over the steak entree. It was flavored with scallions & onions. The sauces though had great flavor. Our sever was quite attentive. Honestly the quality isn't there or the flavor to justify a return. read more
