With the 250th anniversary of the American Revolutionary War, we wanted to pay tribute to the…read moreglorious patriots who made sacrifices for this country! It is about 20 to 30 miles northwest of Boston, the drive is scenic especially when you start driving through all of the little towns leading to Lexington and Concord. The main attraction for our visit was to visit the north bridge memorial site where the first shots of the war began at 5am on Apr 19,1775 dubbed the "shot heard around the world" There is also a marker for the two British soldiers killed here. The site is spread out and will require some hiking if you would like to see the entire trail. I believe it was 5 to 7 miles on foot to see everything. The visit was amazing and awe inspiring! I highly recommend any history buff to visit.

The gift shop has decent items. Grab a map, then on a nice day it's a great walk / stepping down the same road history took the English and Americans to face each other. Some of the sites are walkable and some are a little further, but there are parking areas along the way. The tavern wasn't open when I went, but there are tour options throughout the summer. We ended out outing at North Bridge, which is another great site. On a nice weather day, you could easily spend a few hours here. It's a unique site in our nation's history, and it's a lot of fun and good times outdoors.

My favorite paint (and sip) studio! They have 2 rooms upstairs and downstairs. I've been to both…read morewith numerous different instructors at this point. What I truly appreciate about the studio is that they are BYOB so it offers more flexibility if you are going with people to coordinate bringing snacks and drinks. They ave all the supplies such as glassware (wine glasses, corkscrew), plates and napkins. My first event here was for a "Paint Your Pet". That is considered one of the special events since there are specific instructions to submit by at least ~2 weeks in advance the reference photo so they can screen print it onto the canvas so it is more of a "paint by numbers" than following the instructor since it would be challenging to paint each unique pet. They offered great guidance of how to start. Understandably depending on the fur or pet detail it may take longer. I loved how mine turned out and proudly display it at home. They also offer a reward/loyalty system and somehow I have completed enough paintings at this point to level up to "Collector" so I'm excited to redeem a free painting session. After each event they send out a review survey so if you fill it out you receive a 10% off discount code for the next booking. I also got a birthday gift code of 20% off that I used for the most recent "Autumn Porch Leaner" class. Since I've also completed so many standard canvas paintings at this point I've also branched out now into the unique long/tall paintings for a different experience. I haven't had a bad experience so far and love going to Pinot's Palette Lexington location for fun with friends and family!

And I never leave there without feeling satisfied with my readings. And the very last time I was there, she explained to me that not only was a healer, in a sense I could help other people more. She inspired me. I bought my first two sets of tarot cards. I bought a beautiful Wind-chime that I leave on my deck it hangs over my deck gardens. And I also I'm looking forward to taking some Reiki classes here . I'm sure many other classes I'll be interested into. I've also purchased several different stones that I carry with me in my pocketbook to protect me while I'm driving. I also put stones inside my zipped pillowcase to help me sleep and stay protected from darkness.. My favorite thing are my Sage and my cleansing candles alongside my protection spray that she recommended that smells wonderful and alongside my spirit guides protecting me, I do feel like the spray helps.. Every time I walk into Open Doors , I'm greeted with such welcoming individuals. You feel like you're home. They're right there to share stories or help you find what you need. I'm looking forward to going back whenever I can. Thank you so much Open Doors sincerely, Jenny Folco.
