Other than one lady who reached out to me regarding a missing package the phone answering people there are terrible and some Indian sounding fellow picked up said hello and when I said hi hung up. Real bold behind a phone. Classy professional service. It's no wonder people try to avoid the USPS now. Horrible service read more

Horrible experience. Absolutely no customer service training from the lady with the short hair. (Not the lady with the short hair and glasses). Very rude and has a smart mouth. My first time going to this location and it sucked. No pens or markers on the tables so we are able to write on our packages or mail. Improve your customer service skills. And if you don't like working there, don't! read more

I opened a PO Box here, then found out I didn't need it because of my move. I opened it at as they were closing and was there as they were opening the very next morning when I realized I didn't need it. Less than 24 hours later, they took half of my money (for a year PO BOX and less than 24 hours).... and made the decision that I wasn't entitled to at least 75% but just 50%. What is the math here? I asked for a manager to explain it. He had to remove his earbuds to hear my whole question as I repeated myself and then shrugged his shoulders to indicate he didn't know why. Poor management! Just laziness! Unprofessional. The person at the counter who helped me was good - which is why I couldn't give a 1 star. read more

USPS - 1 person working and a line with 20 plus ppl a week before xmas... horrible!! - Post Offices Near Me - Tampa, Florida

This is 100% based on the old guy that's somehow the main manager . What an unprofessional dick. Lies to my face about a current claim with USPS just to get me out of there. His exact words "Your claim has been approved your check should be in there already" but naturally it wasn't nor had the claim even been reviewed yet. This boomer needs to step down being an angry asshole only proves your not needed at this job. Update: USPS has chose to deny my claim even with 100% proof and naturally without explanation. read more

We called the family member to confirm receipt of package and they told us they never received it. My mother went back to this post office to try to get her money back and the manager told her he could not give her the plaint and was shocked that we did not get our money back when the receipt states money back guaranteed. She told me someone would be calling me back because they would have to do an investigation regarding the manager at that post office and that we should get money back. I went back to the post office on the 25th to inquire about the package and to get refund. The manager looked on the system and told me the package apparently was still in NY post office and to have the family member go there to see if its there or if they sent it back to Tampa. Now I believe its there damn job to investigate this situation and not have me and my mother going back & forth. I contacted family member and they told me the went to the main post office in NY and the one in their neighborhood. They were told package was sent back to sender (Tampa). Today the 27th of Feb I again called the main office and another told me that someone from NY post office should be contacting me in a few days because their system shows the package was undeliverable "no such address" hmmm how could that be when that is the correct address and the lady at the counter had wrote it herself! and why has the package not been returned to sender??? Again I asked for refund based on the guarantee... the agent told me that they did attempt delivery before 9am and it was no known address and therefore basically no refund. This is just poor customer service to say the least. The manager at this location is worthless!!! I wonder how many people they have scammed and took their money and lost packages. Well I am going to put them on blast. I will be posting on social media, news and every outlet I can think of. They are not going to get away with this. Something needs to be done!! read more

I sent my daughter her contacts because she has bad vision and had run out and she did not have money to buy them. Her prescription was expiring and I placed an order through Costco. I sent the package from Miami to Tampa, the package arrived to the post office in Tampa. I paid to track the package. The package did arrive and the post office in Hillsborough lost it and put it in the wrong mailbox. They lost my daughters contacts and now my daughter doesn't have the contacts. If it would of been for their daughter, would they have lost it. read more

I had a return & certain ally was not going to go to a UPS store or Post Office till after the holidays. I planned it just right, it only took about 15 minutes. Wow really friendly and helpful employess! Something I was dreading, turned out to be so easy & quick. I am just getting used to using UPS and, so far no complaints. I feel confident my relationship with them will continue to grow. What's a girl to do? Sometimes, computers can't do everything. read more

Every piece of mail sent from any Tampa post office staying in State takes 3 or more days. I would expect it faster in the 1800's when delivered by horse. Terrible postal system in Tampa. I live 20 mins away and receive stuff from New Jersey before this shithole. read more

I went in to get a letter certified, i walk in and the place is dirty and 2 people working. The line went all the way to the front door. Once i get to the counter the lady asked what i needed so i went ahead and told her. She was very rude and said step out of the line and fill the paper out, usually they let you fill the address there. To be nice i kept my mouth shut and i stepped out of the line and went and filled out the address got back in line and waited about 10 minutes to finally hand my letter in... Another lady took me in asked what I needed and stopped talking cashed me out and didn't say have a good day or anything and slammed my receipt on the counter. read more

By far the worse establishment I've ever had to deal with, and all I'm doing is picking up mail for the company I work for. Constantly waiting 30-45 minutes for anyone to respond. Then they treat you as if you bothered them. As if it isn't there job to give the mail. If I didn't have to come up here I wouldn't. Horrible Customer Service. read more

Have a new carrier, mail going into the wrong boxes. Seen a new carrier today10/26/18 with a supervisor told him what was happening we are working on it the regular new carrier is a little over whelmed with the load of mail. Told the supervisor that the out going has not been picked up and the box it full this has been for about a week. Guess what they did not taken any of the outgoing mail again today. Wish I had my old carrier back. Wonder if they are going to pay any of the late fees that some of this resident might get for being late on payments. You can't even call the post office they do not answer or in person you ask for a supervisor they don't even come to the counter to talk to you. read more

Once again the mail carrier coming from this post office delivering to Sweetwater Cove apartments has kept our mail from us. This time she decided to deliver to a broken/defective parcel locker. I've emailed and still have no response or help. It was package of makeup which is guaranteed to be destroyed as it is now day 3 going on 4 of it being trapped in the metal box in the Florida heat. read more

These are the FRIENDLIEST USPS employees I've ever encountered. The line moved quickly and all of the employees were pleasant in their interactions with customers (on the afternoon of Dec. 20th no less!). The man who helped me was pretty funny and was making jokes and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. I will continue driving just slightly further from my home to use this branch. Keep up the good work! read more

This location has lost two of my packages in the last 6 months. The first one was inconvenient but since it was ordered through a national company, the company just sent me another order. The second package was valuable jewelry for my wedding bought through a private seller on Etsy. After the initial missed delivery attempt, I filled out a redelivery form online for two days later and it never arrived and the online tracking for it has stalled. Shannon, the man I spoke with at this location, repeatedly said "there's nothing I can do for you". No accountability, no apologies, minimal effort to rectify this. Reprehensible, bush league "business". read more
