This place is so slow, 20 minutes of wait on a slow day. I've been to several usps offices,, this is the slowest so far.

Always friendly, never speedy. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day I arrive, someone is always going on 'break', and one person is working, with the line about ten people long. This last visit, one man was working the register, while we all watched the woman go on break, and people there to pick up packages had to step to the side and wait. Finally, after about five minutes of additional waiting, two other women came up from the back and grabbed those tickets to look for the packages. Hello - where were you five minutes ago? It's the closest post office to me, which I why I utilize it, but I go knowing it's going to be a hassle. read more

This is honestly the best post office I have ever dealt with. The employees have always been super courteous and pleasant to deal with. When I had an issue with my mailbox, they worked to figure out what I needed to do and helped me each step of the way. Even during the holiday time, they were efficient and as quick as could be expected. A hidden gem for sure. read more

I came here on TAX DAY to mail my state and federal returns. It was a shockingly quick trip considering the time and date and the clerks handled the line (and our various requests) efficiently. A manager came out to keep the line moving as 5pm drew closer. Post office was very clean. Only issue is that the employee lot doesn't connect to the customer lot...I didn't realize this and parked in the wrong one. There should be better signage for that. read more

I have never had such a pleasant, stress free experience at a post office! I came in around 9:30am and friendly workers helped me send a large set of international packages (for the first time). Tons of patience, friendly chatter, clean areas to write, and i want to stress how everyone was courteous and helpful to ALL customers equally. I usually keep expectations low considering its a service that's likely well underfunded and overworked, but my experience today was great and left me with a smile. read more

This is my local post office, every visit is a head ache. My wife and I use a certain Web site to post items we don't have a need for. This Web site email's a prepaid label once someone accepts your items. The labels sometimes won't scan at the post office and have to be hand keyed. Both my wife and I have explained to ONE representative (the only one who complains) it is not our printer or a low ink cartridge, but she continues to hassle us about it. It makes it a very unpleasent trip, I don't think it is necessary for her to tell me I need to do something to correct this issue. I have cleaned my printer and changed the ink, the fault is not on my end! I just want this usps representative stop hassling me, just hand key my item if need be, ask me if I need stamps and let me be on my way! read more

Was going good and then this guy i dont know he look afghan come from behind the counter and he was so rude also gave this black girl in front of me such a hard time about her package she keep saying i just want to ship this the cheapest way and no to all the questions she was already in line and boxed but he just was very extra with her even told me go around only ask me one question i didnt go around her anyway i do feel everyone should be treated the same so not sorry to submit this review. even when he ask me my one questions i couldnt understand i could have been rude but didnt so dear whomever you are treat everyone the same! read more

So you can't even call your local post office now, and at least once a week the delivery worker just drives by for whatever reason. Don't worry some day I'll have time to stop by and make a formal complaint. Until then know that this post office sucks and tries it's best to not be available read more

This is one of the worst Post Offices in Tampa. We sent several USPS Priority mail boxes via this location and somehow one box broke open after we dropped it off. For two days the tracking stated that is was still in the post office. A few days went by and we received an item from inside of the box - there was no note stating what happened, the post office didn't even seal the envelope, the just put the opened item in the mailbox. We received several more documents over the next few days in the same manner. My husband went back to the post office to locate the opened box and find out what happened and when the manager overheard the conversation with the clerk, he turned around and ran back behind the wall (doughnut in his mouth and all). The staff was not concerned or showed ANY effort and didn't offer any help in finding the box. The staff did an excellent job of telling us all they things they DO NOT do. This box had all of my and my husband's work documents and commendations and certifications from the military over many years. Personal information now lost. We found out via the USPS website (the clerk didn't offer this information) on how to file a claim and learned that IF the staff follows procedures, all lost items are sent to Atlanta Georgia for "processing." In months since this incident, we've only received one item. I received word from my old employer that one of my work documents from 1997 was sent back to them in HR. BE YE WARNED. read more

Either the employees here are all products of parents that went too wild while pregnant, or they have just done too many drugs to comprehend logical human common sense. Either way, I will never be using this post office again after they charged me incorrectly the first time for a package, then told me because I already wrote on the package they said I could use, I had to be charged for that as well as the package I actually needed, and gave me an attitude telling me I don't listen and I made it up! Maybe if she had paid attention instead of checking her phone she would have heard me! read more

I live in Southeast Seminole Heights. Normally we'd receive mail daily then all of a sudden, our mail deliveries came down to twice a week. I found it suspicious that on those two days, we'd have a ton of mail. Even the weekly flyers stopped showing up in our mailbox. I placed an inquiry to the Post Office which led to a conversation with the Lead at our Local Post Office. I informed him of the strange situation in addition, some unusual behavior I've noticed with the Letter Carrier in my neighborhood. While working from home one day, the Letter Carrier knocked on my door. He told me that his Supervisor requested he'd speak to me about the lack of mail delivery. He proceeded to try and convince me that there is just not a lot of mail being delivered these days. He also made it a point to tell me that he was concerned for his own job. After having this conversation with the Letter Carrier...lo and behold, we started getting mail everyday again. Even hour weekly flyers returned to our mailbox. It's been 6 months since this conversation and now we're starting to experience old habits i.e. lack of mail again. Today, I literally just witnessed the same Letter Carrier with the weekly flyers drop mail off in our neighbors box BUT drove passed our house. I then watched him get out of the truck and begin stuffing the rest of the neighborhood with mail INCLUDING the weekly flyer. Horrible! I'm on the fence about filing another complaint. I guess people just don't have respect for their work much less the community anymore. read more

I have grown to like some of the people here... Since it is my local post office. But I have to agree with most of the post. They have never once answered the phone for me when I've tried to call... I have attempted many times. They have lost many of my packages and accidently delivered others to the wrong house (same number, different street). I have received other people's packages as well. The manager is completely rude. She speaks to people in short sentences and is very unprofessional. If there is a line out the door and one person at the counter- she will look out, walk around then disappear to the back again. When my packages have gone missing- I'd leave three or four written messages for her to call me back since they don't answer the phone (she was "not there" or "in a meeting"). Never got a call back. My numberous $50-$200 packages never found/returned, etc. There always seems to be someone on break. It's rare there are two people up there and there is always a line. I "kill them with kindness" each time I go in, hoping I don't leave in a worse mood than I have to... Bc I find if you are super bubbly and nice even when they start the conversation out rude- they are a little less mean and tolerable. To avoid this post office, I go the extra distance to Hyde Park ... the Howard Ave post office is very helpful and very efficient! Also very friendly and actually answer their phones. I lived in Hyde Park for 8 years and this was my post office. The two are literally night and day. Every single time I leave the Hyde Park post office, they circle the 800 number and tell me "please tell us how great we are!" They literally say that. Encourage you to call and report them. The Nebraska post office will circle the delivery date estimate- not say a word about the number- lol they know better. People need to start calling that number. I feel if they replaced the manager at the Nebraska Post Office, it would be a lot more organized, a positive and professional environment, the bad apples and possibly stoners/theives will be weeded out ....and have a better vibe in general. As of now, the managment needs to be under investigation and her employees act like they are held against their will, forced to be there.... Acting rude to most 99% of the time to the customers (that I have witnessed). I look forward to moving to a different neighborhood, where going to the closest post office isn't such a miserable experience. read more
