The first location we visited wasn't correct, so we ended up at the Lawton-Fort Sill Tag Agency. We walked-in on a Friday afternoon (no appointment) and the entire process (including wait time) was less than 1.5 hrs if I remember correctly. The City of Apache is very near and dear to my heart. I used to spend many endless summers there as a little girl visiting my grandma and grandpa. They have passed on and as a way to cherish those memories, I thought that there would be no way that I could not include them in "These are just a few of my favorite things" Apache's Claim to Fame is their Annual Rattlesnake Festival which was just held (I've never been to this) and their resident, Maury Tate created the Mobetta Shirts that were worn and made famous by country singer, Garth Brooks!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6YRyNviBMk&feature=related Anyways, now that my grandparents are with the angels in Heaven, I doubt that I will be going back but I know that the memories are just a calm close my eyes moment away!!! I still love you and miss you grandma and grandpa!!! Pros: If you run out of gas, no problem walking home! Con: If you do something stupid one night, everybody in town will know about it before you wake up!
