Last Saturday I scanned out a package at self serve kiosk then handed it to worker in the back. It sat 4 days before it updated to be shipped. For the 3rd time in as many weeks I have been expecting a package to be delivered, Tracking says delivered in/to mailbox, but it's not there and doesn't show up for 3-4 days later. I'm sorry for what Nora M. encountered but my experience today was most pleasant. I needed some postcard stamps for my "Don't Mess With Texas" postcards and the clerk who helped me was pleasant and efficient. Once complete, they went into the mail slot and they're on the way. This post office has one of those automated machines that can weight and price your mail and then sell you the right postage. As Post Offices go, this one, as far as a building is concerned, is no different than the others. The experience comes with the staff. Greet them with a smile and some kind words and they seem to be friendlier. Step up with an attitude or a frown, and you seem to get that in return. When I've gone, they've been nice and cordial, with a hidden air of being ready to go home. It's a thankless job, yet this staff does will. Place is always clean and stocked up with the necessary items. Passports, I highly recommend making the appointment, they don't take walk ins. Tho if you go with the photo already taken and the paper work filled out, it only takes a few minutes. However, they charge fees that add the passport fees, these add up really fast. read more

I've lived in Cleburne for over 20 years and I've never had a problem with the post office here. I've always received my mail in a timely manner and when I do have to actually go to the facility, everyone in there has always been professional, nice and helpful. If I could give zero stars, I would. The lady that takes care of the passports was so rude. I'm never coming back to this post office again. There was no one in the facility, and I understand that we were half an hour late. But the way we were spoken to was uncalled for. read more
