This is the second time I've come to this location to drop a package off before the close time that is posted in the business hours. Why do you not have this located staffed accordingly! I went inside and the lights are off in the area where the mail is collected. It's a huge inconvenience to me and my clients when I have to ship products. read more

They refused to scan my package because the label was created two days ago. Is this a standard for USPS? The lady was being hard to deal with and kept repeating stuff like I couldn't understand. First time I have experienced this from USPS. How are they keeping track of the package if they are not even scanning it?? Not my favorite USPS location, but not the worst USPS location. Kind of a weird turn in off the main road to pull into the location. Every time I go there the staff is very friendly, they just aren't ever in a rush. There are 3 stations but only 2 at most are ever used. It's a very small post office and always seems to be busy so definitely expect to wait, as it won't be a quick in and out. They are open Monday-Friday from 8:30-5 and Saturday from 9-1. read more

I had excellent service here. Post that says "place is sketchy" makes me think that person isn't comfortable around working-class people! There is a 7-Eleven next door, but that establishment mainly had folks getting gas. Post officer greeted me when I walked in and was upfront about what stamps were available. She even helped me decide on stamps given that the ones I wanted, Edmonia Lewis, had sold out twice already. Also it is easy to access the parking lot from either side of the street. I know that job has got to be trying some times and I have dealt with my fair share of rude people at the post office. Really happy I chose to come to this location and that Cheryl was on duty. The staff is very unfriendly and constantly bickering at each other. If you have a code to scan to create a label, you won't be able to ship your package. It is a joke. Please avoid this location at any cost. Visit the UPS Store on 7th as they also ship via USPS and you're going to have a much better experience. I will never return to this location. read more

I'm usually easy going and do not usually post bad reviews, but my experience at this post office today was completely uncalled for. I went today to drop off a box of mailings for my office using Every Door Direct Mail. I ordered and paid for it online. In addition to dropping off these fliers, I brought a letter that needed to be sent certified mail. When I arrived, the line was out the door because only one person was working. She was very friendly, but it was ridiculous to think the post office would only staff one person during lunch. The other person was at lunch. After waiting at least 40 minutes, it was my turn. I told her I had two needs. She wasn't familiar with EDDM, so I contributed to the delay for other customers. I figured it would just be something I could drop off. After that was cleared up, she asked me if I could wait for the other attendant since she was back. I was trying to be accommodating and said that was fine. I waited in line again. When it was my turn, the new attendant asked if I had cash. I said I was paying with credit card. She told me she only accepted cash. When I asked what I should do she simply said "I don't know" and that I would have to wait for the other lady to return. When I asked how long it would be she again said she didn't know but "shortly." I couldn't believe this. I felt so disrespected for my time. I couldn't mail a letter after I had been there for an hour. I stopped at UPS afterward and was taken care of in less than 5 minutes for the same service. I'm glad I "voted" with my dollars here. What an absolutely horrible waste of time and it's sad this review will not be used improve customer service because they do not need to improve it to stay opened. This is a primary example of why the government should not run anything. read more

TERRIBLE customer service, I'm really appalled. I came to return mail that is getting sent to my house, the pervious owners. I Waited in line patiently, got called up, and told the kind Older gentleman I wanted to return this mail to the sender. Before he can even get a word out the African America woman working beside him starts yelling at me what to do. At this point both are talking and this is silly, I just want to return mail. She's telling me the way I can handle this is if I physically talk to my carrier (who I never see) and tell him this information. I said can't you relay to your employee that this is not my mail. Apparently not. She tells me over and over again that I have to talk to him, all the while the older gentleman is clearly trying to handle it. They tell me I need to take the mail home and write on it that it is not our mail. At this point I'm frustrated and just decided to take the mail home and deal with it myself. All the sudden his attitude switches and they can, in fact, take it for me and relay this to carrier. Why did all of this happen?? Why was it necessary if this ended the way it did. There's informing your guest of something and there is being aggressive with a guest, and this lady was the latter. Do you hate you job so much that you jump on every opportunity to belittle a customer? Someone needs to give this lady some sensitivity training. read more

I am a strong USPS supporter but this location needs lots of improvement along with the installation of a few self serve machines. This is a business Trump would love to eliminate. This location is just terrible. There's always only 1 person working up front (you can clearly hear multiple people in the back having conversation and they take their sweet time coming up front to assist when busy). They never open on time. They usually open 5-10 minutes late during the week. This past Saturday (10-22-16) they were supposed to have opened the doors at 9:30 but I along with others were standing outside until almost 9:40. No sense of urgency, no greetings; you'd think they hate their jobs. I feel obligated to write this review, as I frequent this location multiple times each week. However, I don't have to deal with much of this any more because I use prepaid labels online and literally just walk in and drop my box off (and skip the 20 people in line, sorry, not sorry). Even then sometimes they don't have the carrier up front for drop offs and I still wind up having to wait 5 minutes sometime. It's a postal office, so likely nothing will be done about anything. But my advice to anyone reading this is to get Pre paid labels online, or go to the next post office. read more
