This was so convenient. We were driving and saw this post office. We needed to mail a couple things. Even though they were not that busy (not many cars in the lot), we decided we did not even need to go inside. They had a drive through drop box for the mail. We checked the pickup times posted on the box. Good. And drove through and out our Neil in the biz. Easy peasy! Had no idea this post office was even here -- right off of jog road. Outstanding service at this USPS location. The clerk was extremely fast, efficient, and helpful. I was shipping a package to France and realized my box was too small to properly fit the label. Instead of turning me away or asking me to come back later, he went to the back, found the correct box, helped me repackage everything with tape, and got me out quickly. Today I was at the post office on Boynton Beach Blvd. near jog Road. Usually I love this post office. Staff are helpful and kind and they do their work fairly quickly. Today was a very different story. I went in to buy a mailer envelope and mail a very small item And it became a very big deal. I was being helped by a man named Sib. I don't think it was his first day but it sure seemed like it. First, he asked me what my ZIP Code was, but it's sitting there on the return address. Then he asked me what the ZIP Code was that it's going to because he couldn't read it. I told him what it was and he still got it wrong. When I got the bill, it sounded like too much money so I looked at it and sure enough there was a four dollar charge that he said he didn't know how it got there. So then he tried to give me a refund for it, but didn't know how to do that. And he tried to re-ring the entire thing up and he didn't know how to do that. He called for his colleague, Hella. She was very little help and then left him alone to finish it. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. This was supposed to take all of 6 to 7 minutes. Admittedly, I was getting frustrated and it was apparent. However, then, Hella decided to join in the fun and she ranted and raved for I don't know how long but she wouldn't stop and she said he won't help you and I won't help you either. So I asked for a manager he came out and she wouldn't even do what he was telling her to do. So rather than fight with her, he just went back to the other guy and he did it while the manager stood there to finish the job. The manager was rolling his eyes at her and had zero control of her behavior. My item is mailed and I will find another post office for the next time. This was truly a negative experience. I do thank the manager for helping and I am sorry that he has to work with such incompetence. read more

The worker Felicia was incredibly rude. I was not able to send my package. She made an issue about something. I've never had an issue about I work for a online company that gives me shipping labels to send out products. I have never in my life had a USPS worker tell me that I've had to have a bag and, prepare the product before shipping it out usually usually they just put it in a bag and put the label on it as they do it. Any any other USPS this USPS is incredibly unprofessional and Felicia should be fired as she is incredibly rude and a horrible person. read more

I'm offended to core by the guy named Allen (cashier) at this post office. I'm never at the post office. I recently had surgery to remove skin cancer from my right (dominate) hand. I walk up to Allen, he already looked at me like if I was trash, I show him my 2 small boxes and labels I had. When I attempted to place the label on boxes I was struggling, bc you know, I just had hand surgery. His response, "so if I drop a million dollars on the floor you couldn't pick it up?" Like wtf is even your point besides telling me in a "funny" way that I'm helpless although I should have been able to place the labels? Nah bro, you work here, you see me struggling, why be a fucking smart ass? After I just told him I had surgery to remove cancer. Dude I know your job sucks but do better for real. USPS - Post Offices Near Me - Boynton Beach, Florida

over the last 3 months this location has become a truly terrible post office that should be avoided if possible. They have two self service machines which are in place to keep the main line short by having customers utilize the self service unit if a customer service rep at the counter is not needed for the transaction. These two self service units are constantly out of order 90 percent of the time I visit, thus lines are long anytime of day. secondly after hours they keep open one self service unit and lock the second one up. Tonight as I have seen over and over, they lock up the self service machine that is working and leave the broken one open for use. I find it hard to believe a government facility does not have the funds to keep there machines operating. Please find a manager who can do their job as this one clearly is not able to oversee this operation or likely any. read more

Best service I've ever gotten at a post office. I was alerted via email that my package delivered, but when I checked the mailbox it was not there. Extremely helpful gentlemen at this location was able to check the GPS to see where the carrier actually delivered it. He then sent another employee out in a van to pick it up and deliver it to me same day. I had it in my hands an hour after I called. Very impressed and thankful read more

The hours on this post office are stated yet everytime I go to this location I am harassed about the closing time. If they close at 6pm and you arrive at even 5:45 you are immediately being rushed and told that they close at 6pm! Very unprofessional. This Saturday I was running behind on my packages :( and I arrived with 6 minutes before closing. On Saturdays the post office closes at 3pm (it was 2:54) There was an African American older gentleman (I didn't get his name so this is the only way to describe him) that was so rude! He stated that I shouldn't be bringing my packages in this late and did I know the time that they close. I was so taken back by his rudeness that at first I thought he was joking around until I realized that he was serious. He also stated that I needed to set a cut off time for my packages so I could arrive at the post office on time. I had 6 packages that were pre- paid and only needed to be scanned in the system.. it literally took him less than a minute to scan them in and I usually scan them in myself at the self svc kiosk but he told me to bring them to him since they were closing. I understand the need to want to go home .. I've been there before but if your establishment closes at a certain time, you should respect that time and not be mad or disrespectful to the customers if they arrive close to the closing time. I hope someone from this USPS Boynton Beach location truly looks over this and rectifies what has been going on and how the customers are being treated. Thank you read more

There is a line but hey that's life. We hurry up to wait in line. Two clerks were behind the counter. But wait, one clerk took a break. What the ? Well, finally had my turn and the one and only clerk was very helpful. I looked at the line and was thankful that I came when I did because it was a much longer line. The lobby was clean and nicely decorated. Red white and blue makes you feel patriotic. The other customers were nice, no pushing, shoving or pinching but they were mostly over 75. Makes me feel young. read more

A post office is a place to mail a letter or a package or get stamps pretty much period. Dont expect much more. When it comes to Federal funding the USPS is behind developing new jet planes, new bombs, cyberwarfare concerns, FEMA camp upgrades (they have basketball courts now! ) and about 37,653 other things. Some things never change at the USPS like the ridiculous lines (cant wait for Christmas!) Thankfully they do send out a rep to canvas the line trying to help the alztimers that live in the over 75 communities that abound here in West Boynton with packaging and labelling issues but still it's a nightmare. Finally I get to the clerk. She's calm and cool even as she looks out at 28 frustrated and fidgeting people in line. She's got a cushy job and the prospect of an early retirement and Gov pension so la tee da. I ask her what kind of special stamps are available and after a couple of minutes select the First Responder ones over some flower and minor historical figure ones. I know people in line are rolling thier eyes but haha I'm at the counter and your not and though not a philatelist I do appreciate a colorful cool stamp and I hope the receiver of my mail does as well. Oh cool they accept chipped cards now WOW thats an upgrade. Also the transaction printout is down to about 2 feet and half a minute (ok slight exaggeration). And you gotta love that they give you free shipping boxes as many as you want which you can take home and use for anything even turn them inside out and use them to ship at UPS lol. Now to main complaint here as I dont expect much more from the way things work inside is that this parking lot is dangerous! People are streaming in as people facing the building are backing out. Remember these folks cant turn thier heads very well and even if these beige Camry's had back up cameras I doubt they would be useful. I am not making fun of older folks here hell I hope to be one myself someday but just stating the facts. How about reconfiguring the lot so people can drive forward to leave, add speed bumps and jesus how about trimming the overgrown vegetation once a decade. The trees around the lot are encroaching into it and the untrimmed sable palm near the entrance looks pathetic. This isn't Bulgaria! This is the USA and this is our local post office. Lets have some civic pride and clean the place up and be respectable. Suggestion to Washington divert a couple billion from the black ops and fix up the countries Post Offices. Or allow a local landscape company to come in and beautify things in exchange for a "Courtesy of" sign. As a local landscape company owner myself I would gladly volunteer a few hours of trim and cleanup labor and 40 bags of mulch to make this post office more appealing. Who agrees with me? read more

Been to this location a multitude of times and have never experienced a problem. I usually go in the evening after work and there are no lines and a big empty parking lot. As an added plus there is an Asian lady who is absolutely hilarious and the big tall guy with glasses is really good too. read more

I ship many large packages weekly and have been doing so for the last 10 years or more. I print pre-paid labels and normally just drop off my packages at this location and also the delray west location. The lines are sometimes very long but I think it is like this at every location. If you have prepaid packages, you can skip the line and drop your packages on the counter or in the corner. I have to say that this location has the most friendly and helpful clerks. They seem like they are always happy to see us even when we get there near closing and are willing to help, unlike the delray west location that is always complaining, rude, and act like we are bothering them. I would strictly use this location only if it were closer to me. I normally only come here when i miss the delray one bcuz they close at 5. This Boynton location stays open until 6pm which is very convenient. I only had problems before when dealing with a couple managers or supervisors but i don't believe they are there anymore. Ebay sells for us and we are there to ship out. The automated postal center is gold since we don't have to wait in the line for service. Most of the time that I arrive here, I tend to see a long line of cranky and patient people waiting for the employees to help them. Again, the automated center is a convenience and a nice option to ship envelopes and packages if you are on the move. read more

I am not usually the one to complain about much, but this time I am extremely upset at this Post office location and I hope you guys be careful using this branch. I send out a a birthday card for my daughters birthday a week ago and she still hasn't received the card in NYC. This is the second time I send a birthday card from this location and the receiving end never got it. I send both first class but didn't have the need to put a confirmation tracking slip. So lesson learn never use that post office again and always use delivery confirmation. read more
