Got that out of the way- booking is easy to do online and you can also call to book. The have a very thorough FAQ list online to explain everything and I reviewed it and made notes. You meet at a public boat launch at your designated time and they hustle to get that boat in the water for you and get you on your way. My hubby had captained pontoons before and took the helm responsibilities. Our rental guy gave him tips about where to go and navigating the inter-coastal waters- you can get details on sandbars to play at, places to stop to eat and more! We departed at 10:30am and were back to make the return 4 hours later. The boat rode wonderfully- no problems there. It was a perfect boating day too- I would rent with them again!

It was extra crowded as we were told another tour company cancelled, so they let those customers on our boat. It was tight, but we were ready for some fun! We were moving along on Matanzas Bay about 10 minutes. I went to the restroom and noticed some open space in the back of the boat. I went back to the front and got me friends and that's where we hung out the remainder of the boat ride. I'm not a fan of restricted space, so this move felt great! We saw dolphins and an amazing sunset. We went under the Lions Bridge, went by the St Augustine Lighthouse and Castillo de San Marcos. I can't explain how absolutely perfect the weather was that night. But if I go again, I will choose mid-May! Not too hot or humid. The staff was fabulous and friendly! Our route took us out of the marina, around the waterway, right by the fort, and the downtown nightlife. Once the sun went down, the tiki boat had colored lights that turned on. Our group really had a blast, and this was a highlight of our weekend, for sure. I want to give major kudos to our Captain, Jack. He was so great navigating the waters that were a little choppy in a few areas while making us feel safe. He also was such a good sport with our shenanigans and laughed along with us. We had to stop into multiple local businesses to ask where it was, as the employees who answer the phone do not work on premises and did not know how to guide us past what GPS says. If your GPS takes you to a residential neighborhood, you're in the right spot.

There were also many covered benches available all along the pier. Plus, lots of fishermen. There's a drive up circle at the beginning of the pier, convenient for dropping off and picking up someone. The boat was immaculate and the Captain and Crew were all very friendly and attended to all of our needs even offering blankets when it got really chilly after the sunset. We were delayed at the drawbridge as a the cruise began because the Spanish Navigator Juan Merediz was ending his historic route sail from Spain to St. Augustine was being escorted into the marina. Had an amazing time out on the water with a group of good friends. The weather was perfect, with…read moreclear skies and warm sunshine. We started our adventure by going on a short ride down through downtown St Augustine, passing underneath the bridge of lions and past the marina before coming back. We then decided to hit up the sandbar and anchor our boat for the remainder of the day, enjoying the crystal-clear waters and warm sunshine. We had a great time hanging out with other boats, floating on some tubes, and enjoying a few drinks while soaking up the sun. We also brought along some delicious food for the afternoon, which added to the enjoyment of our day on the water. We had a great experience with the dock staff, especially Mike, who is always top-notch and made sure our day was filled with fun and relaxation. Thank you for a great day on the sea!
