When's we first dropped it off, he was without a phone the whole day just to find out, they didn't do anything to it because "the port they ordered was not the correct one". So they said they'd work on using what they could for parts and kept it for the night into the next day. We go back just to find out nothing was done to it yet, so we all for the phone and money back since they were just running around in circles. (also around the holidays, so my husband needed he's phone). They told us with all the labor they put into it that there's no refunds... The phone wasn't even cleaned to be repaired. It was never touched. The worker had the audacity to ask me, don't I get paid hourly? How would I feel? And I told him that wasn't ok to ask since not everyone has hourly pay( I'm a tattoo artist). Worker started getting rude so we had to walk away before it got worse. He did say a new port was coming in Friday so only had one choice bec we weren't getting our money back for no labor. We said give us a call when it comes in then.. no call. Just over all, we were trying to be responsible and have the bill that didn't need to be paid yet, paid and they pretty much lied to our faces about working on it when asked the pre paid money back for bad service practice. I guess the customer isn't right at all to them and don't wish to make it right. (left a voice mail for the owner and STILL have not gotten a call back, this was about 2 weeks ago.)

They are just as passionate about playing/using the goods that they sell, which we love to see! Card selection is pretty sweet in the way of Pokemon cards. They might not always be in the best condition, but their pricing is typically very fair when it comes to these kinds of shops, so we respect that. They don't typically have pricing listed on the card sleeve though, so you either need to ask or sort of make the gamble once they ring it all up, which is a bit peculiar. My favorite part of Video Games Etc is the fact that they are always running "sales" of buy 6 cards, get the 7th free or buy x amount of used dvds, video games, etc. and get your next one free. It's very similar I would say to 2nd and Charles kinds of deals and gives the vibes of being a smaller 2nd and Charles in general, which is lovely to see!

The only reason I have it is because it is the only service available for where I live. I call for support and each time they run through "fixing it" with me. All they do is ask me to un plug it and plug it back in or hit the reset button on the modem. That's the first thing I do when it stops working. Then they say they will have someone come look at it but can't until the next day. I called around 10:30 am for help and they said no one could come until around 1pm-5pm the following day. Ridiculous. If you are going to have a POS service, at least make up for it with a faster troubleshooting person. People have things to do that internet is required for. Can't sit for 30 hours waiting for help.
