5 Stars Fitness CF North Clermont is the complete package --…read morebest gym in the area! I've been going to Fitness CF in North Clermont for the last six months and I honestly don't know why I'd ever drive anywhere else. This place has literally everything you need for a top-notch workout. The weight floor is massive with plenty of squat racks, benches, and cable machines that are always clean and ready to go. Cardio equipment is top-tier, the functional training area is loaded, and the group classes (especially the strength and HIIT ones) are fire. Whether you're chasing PRs or just trying to stay consistent, they've got the setup to make it happen. What really sets them apart is how well they've thought through recovery. They've got dedicated stretching zones, foam rollers, mobility tools, and even a solid cool-down area that actually encourages you to take care of your body after you destroy it in the gym. Most places give you the weights and call it a day -- Fitness CF actually gives you the tools to recover properly so you can keep showing up stronger. The only thing that would push this gym from "already amazing" to "literally perfect" is if they added a red light sauna and cold plunge. Those two pieces would take recovery to another level and make this place unbeatable. Hint to management: the demand is there! Clean facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great music, and never feels overcrowded even at peak times. If you're anywhere near North Clermont, do yourself a favor and sign up. You won't regret it. This is the real deal. 10/10 -- already re-signed for another year. See you in the gym!

If there is any remodeling or construction happening inside the gym its never for to long. And restrooms and always stocked and clean. Now I have been a Zumba instructor at this location for 2 years now (Wednesday at 10:30a) the staff is just as helpful. And day care staff is so friendly and great with my special needs son. Daycare staff make sure he is safe as well as the other children. And if at anytime my child has had a problem they do not hesitate to locate me if they can not solve it. Which for me lets me do my class or my own work out with no worries or stress. I definitely recommend this gym to any mom friends I come across that need a little selfcare time.

I began training with Alex Cromartie from Awakened Fitness in May of 2013. Since then I have lost…read more23 pounds and three dress sizes. My friends have all noticed the weight loss and the muscle definition that I've gained and have commented very positively on it. Alex pushes me just hard enough that I can't be a "quitter" simply because I'm tired, but seems to instinctively know when I've truly had enough. He's been very careful to work with me so I won't get injured during training. Additionally he's been working with me to loosen and strengthen various muscle groups and joints which has benefited my cardio training and yoga practice. As well as being a coach for strength training and overall fitness, Alex has a strong knowledge base on nutrition and advocates healthy eating. I have passed his card out to many friends and neighbors. I highly recommend him for both those who want to work on weight loss and/or overall health as well as those who want to be very serious about building a "beach body."

Which goes to show, even at 90 yrs old, you feel better when you move more! Alex is super nice, encouraging and can read when my father needs a rest or to push through one more time. I would highly recommend Alex for any age and any condition! He is very knowledgeable in many areas of health and wellness and obviously exercise. Thanks, Alex - we are going to continue with our fitness goals!

I have been a member of this gym for a couple years now but only recently started attending this…read moregym on a regular basis. The gym has several different group classes, which I enjoy, all with great instructors. The class sizes are much smaller than the other local gyms, which creates a sense of camaraderie when you attend on a regular basis. There are options in the morning, evenings and on Saturdays. In addition, the gym is kept clean, which can't be said about one of the other local gyms that I regularly attend as well. Recently, they offered a 6 week boot camp / weight loss challenge that I took advantage of. It involved small group training sessions with Justin, a certified physical trainer. Justin kept us engaged, was encouraging and supportive throughout the challenge. There was a commitment deposit that you could earn back if you met the requirements of the challenge. The requirements during the entire 6 week period were the following: lose 20 pounds, change your Facebook profile pic to the approved challenge announcement pic, complete 30 workouts during the 6 weeks, attend at least 1 Boot Camp session a week and regular postings of our workouts on social media. Changing the FB profile pic for the entire 6 weeks seemed excessive. The text was outdated within a week of posting it and was a bit gimmicky in the wording. It should be more representative of the program without the date referenced. I'm not one to post much on my FB page so it was tough for me to post all of my workouts. At the same time, it provided some accountability and support from my friends, so I can't complain too much about it. At the start of the challenge, we were weighed in and provided a recommended nutrition plan to follow. I chose to follow my own nutrition plan but discussed it at the start of the challenge to make sure it was acceptable. There was supposed to be a mid-challenge checkpoint but I don't feel it was really done for everyone. I made sure to do a check to see where I was at with my weight/fat loss but it wasn't something that was scheduled for everyone. You had to inquire about this on your own. Making it a scheduled halfway event could make it more successful for some. The Boot Camp sessions were an hour long and several options were provided throughout the week (morning and night) which made it convenient. The sessions were challenging and provided me with ideas to help me when I'm working out on my own after the challenge. The sessions were done with 2 - 3 sets of exercises with 2 - 3 rounds a piece. The exercises were varied every time and included equipment like the TRX system, sled push, weighted tire, dumbbells, kettle bells, slam balls and ropes to name a few. A couple suggestions for future boot camps would be to encourage us to warm up prior to the session and also to stretch at the end. In the end, I was able to meet all the requirements to earn my commitment deposit back so I'm pleased about that. Brad, the owner, also provided me with support and encouragement throughout the challenge which was nice. I lost 20 pounds and my resting heart rate dropped 10 bpm during the challenge which is awesome! Depending on the cost, I would recommend this program to others that are looking to lose weight, have accountability and support, wants to work with a personal trainer and likes the group training aspect.

I love a smaller gym. I'm not having to fight for equipment and you're left alone to do what you…read moregotta do and get out promptly. It's clean and staff are friendly and attentive.
