I called to dispute a bill after being charged hundreds of dollars after a very simple service, was told by Billing rep named "Jovani" that I should not be responsible for the bill because I was a "Self-Pay Patient" and that "if you don't hear from me that means you don't have to pay".. I said "no, I want a phone call regardless of the determination". Three weeks later, no call back. I can only imagine the amount of elderly patients who he gave that same poor direction to. They then claimed that I was responsible for the extra cost, I spoke to someone in the Financial Counseling Department and they quoted me a wildly inaccurate price of $63. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to someone named "Kourtney Grimes" who cut me off, spoke over me, raised her voice at me, attempted to gaslight me, and was wildly inappropriate, unprofessional, lacked emotional as well as general intelligence. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, "Kourtney Grimes" stated "there's no one above me boo", an obvious lie, and attempt to avoid accountability for her trash behavior. No one answers the phone in the Patient Relations department or calls you back. I encourage anyone who was victim to this company's gross incompetence and negligence to file complaints with the NYS Department of Education's Professional Misconduct Enforcement, the NYS Department of Health, the NYS Attorney General (NYSOAG), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), or other regulatory body.

I came because my legs got so swollen that it was painful to walk. The day I went they did ultrasounds of my legs to see how closed the veins were...they were more then partially closed causing me to be out of breath while walking, swelling and Lots of pain. I literally went back the following week and had the first leg done then when it healed about 2 months later did the 2nd leg. I feel 100 percent better!!! My Kegs don't swell anymore or turn black and blue from the swelling. The staff was above exceptional!!!! Everyone including Dr RAVIKUMAR, were so caring and helpful they made the whole experience wonderful! The ultrasound tech is so great!!! He makes you so comfortable they are all just the best. Dr. Sozio was really patient with my seemingly endless questions. The IPL esthetician, Grace, was great and the results were so noticeable. I've been doing IPL in the fall and winter ever since. (It's better not to do it during the summer or if you're going to be in the sun). Eventually my questions would include..."So, what else do I need?" Believe it or not he said, "nothing." That's right--he did not push unnecessary treatments on me. Fast forward a few years, when I asked and the answer was, "A little botox," we did it and I felt really happy with the results--they made me feel younger but looked completely natural. You may find cheaper places, but personally my face is NOT where I want to bargain hunt. And Dr. Sozio has a very subtle approach. No "frozen face." Recently I did Thermage and it was something I thought about for a long time. It is costly, although it lasts for years. I'm not going to lie, it's a bit painful, but again the results were fantastic (and they will continue to improve for the next several months and then last for years). They have state-of-the-art equipment. Always the latest generation of everything. Again, The Skin Center is not inexpensive, although you get points and I have been able to redeem them for treatments. To me, if you're looking to improve your appearance it's worth a bit more. I had to return for two rounds of filler for my lips. They came out very natural, and I was pleased. The only reason I didn't return was due to the high prices, which were higher than most places I've seen and visited. This may be because it is a licensed doctor/surgeon. The staff was very friendly, and the doctor seemed extremely knowledgeable and wasn't pushy at all. The space is also beautiful. I wish I could afford to receive services from them more often. That's the only reason I didn't give a fifth star.
