I should've waited for another company's because La Costera's driver provided horrible service. Never again. First, I asked if he was taking passengers because he was speaking on the phone to someone. I thought he would've ended his conversation after I got into the car, but he continued talking on the phone for 5 minutes. He only got on with my ride after I asked him whether he was going to drive me or not. Second, he didn't know where I wanted to go. I am from out of town and I was visiting someone for work purposes. I even asked him if he knew where the place was. He then proceeds to ask me to use my phone's GPS because his phone was dying (um probably because you were talking on the phone for all that time). Third, there's no meter. Repeat. NO METER. He wanted to charge me $20, but I only gave him $18 after some pushback. Totally arbitrary. Finally, he couldn't speak English very well at all, and while it is not a requirement to speak English in this dear country of our's, if you work in the service industry, I'd hope that you can at least somewhat communicate with your customers. Absolutely terrible. Recommend everyone to stay away.

The driver came into a parking lot we were in, made a right turn where it said no right turn, parked in the fire zone, made a u-turn in the middle of the lane, and then drove through 2 handicap parking signs instead of pulling into a spot and turning. Then he hit the gas and flew down a lane way too fast to be going in a parking lot. I would NEVER use this company, and if these are the type of people they hire, I don't suggest you do either. Instead, I found Yellow Cab on Yelp and took a chance. The driver answered my phone call right away, picked me up, and didn't mind stopping by a bank to pick up cash for the fare. I needed him to pick me up a second time at 4:30am in the morning and drop me off at EWR. He confirmed the night before via phone, and also arrived right on time. I stupidly forgot my wallet and we were 75% of the way there. So embarrassing! But he turned around with no complaint and got me back to the airport in time for my flight. I really appreciated his patience and professionalism (I'm used to cabbies in NJ being rude to me) and gave him 3x the fare, plus tip. Overall, great customer service, and safe driving skills :D

I had considered a cab service, but my vacations are very important to me, and didn't want to have to worry about reliability, so I decided to use Greg's service, and called to set up an appointment. An e-mail was sent with an invite that you respond to confirming your appointment, and you receive a text from the driver a half hour before pick up. My driver showed up very early, and was waiting for me at my requested pick up location. Very friendly, helped with my bags, had a beautiful Lincoln, and got me to Newark in no time! He even was kind enough to look up my departure gate at my terminal for United Airlines! Also, exchanged in pleasant talk on the way! Great service across the board, and highly recommend them and will! I also, love the flat rate that includes tolls and gratuities! Takes the guess work out of your bill.
