A sales rep came around our neighborhood and we allowed a sales pitch but turned it down based on the product's price. A few days later we got a call from the company stating they wanted to come into our neighborhood and do a promotional TV show advertising that the owner occasionally does and could come out and review - it would be a money saver for us as they were hoping to draw in more sales. The "owner" as he stated, came out and reviewed it all, we agreed on specific window thickness (mid - 7/16th on small and thicker on the large ones) and type "Low E" and price. He said he had been in business for years and the windows would get a lifetime warranty. Everything was done on his tablet, we asked twice about the sizes and trusted he marked it correctly. (Deceit) It was supposed to be done in approximately 6 months. (Lies) After many calls and approximately a year later, they still had not ordered the windows. The "owner" who came out was no longer with the company. The company sent a document to review stating they were going to order clear glass and the numbers were not written the way it is presented at sales so it was not possible to clarify what they had - but other items/designs were also wrong. They assured me the thickness was correct when I brought it to their attention on multiple occasions (Lies). The type and thickness did not seem correct on paper. I discussed this with them, and they stated that the Low E blue-greenish tint was not allowed by permitting in my city. (Lies). After we told them we wanted our money back if they would not provide exactly what we ordered they were mysteriously able to order and have approved the correct Low E windows. They assured me the thickness was correct. After many calls and approximately 6 months later they called to schedule delivery and installation. The Low E was correct, but the numbers did not make sense. When I called I was assured they were ordered as stated on the paper and were correct. After the initial installation, the first inspector came out and explained the numbers on the stickers and told me they were the minimum thickness (not the size I had ordered). I called the company multiple times to discuss this and never got a call back from management. Approximately two years after the time we ordered the windows were finally complete and passed inspection; however, management still has yet to call back to discuss the bait and switch on windows. BUYER BEWARE!
