Walked in to the Salon where two women sat doing nothing. I asked if they take walk ins. One says I…read moredon't know and looks at the other lady. She replies, "unfortunately I don't have time for you today." She then asked, "what did you want done?" I answered just a mani, pedi, but that's okay and I walked out. That's okay ladies, I had money to spend and I would rather give it to a business that wants it. It really looked like you were way to busy sitting on your butts for my business anyway!

After making the appointment I stopped in to introduce myself to the stylist. She was not with a client and said she had 30 minutes until her next appointment. I asked if I could show her a picture of what I wanted, that I wanted to go short (radical change for me) but was nervous about it and wanted to make sure she felt confident about the cut since we had never met. She seemed friendly and said yes. The day of my haircut she cancelled my appointment saying she was offended that I stopped by the salon without an appointment for a consultation and that Should not have asked her if she felt confident about the cut. She stated on my voicemail that she did feel confident about the cut but "not for you" and stated she would never cut my hair. I am shocked. Incredibly rude and a personal attack

My friend and I visited from Albuquerque during Juneteenth weekend, looking forward to a relaxing…read morespa experience. Instead, we received hands-down the worst nail salon experience we've ever had. For $40 each, the quality and customer service were completely unacceptable. The Main Issues: Unpleasant Atmosphere: The moment we walked in, the entryway reeked heavily of cigarette smoke. Unbelievably Rushed: Despite the salon being almost completely empty with no other customers waiting, a single technician rushed through *both* of our full pedicures in a combined 30 minutes (less than 15 minutes per person). Poor & Painful Quality: The technician was rough, barely filed my nails, skipped scraping the dead skin off my heels, and left us with a sloppy polish job. Worse, she actually burned my friend's nail bed with the electric file. There was no real massage and no lotion used--only oil. Zero Customer Service: The technician didn't say a single word to us, not even a hello. When I politely tried to address these concerns at checkout to explain why our tip was lower than usual, the front desk lady completely dismissed me, stating, "That's just how we do it here." I love Ruidoso and will definitely be back to visit the town, but I will never step foot in Nails Club again. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values quality and customer care.
