Lorraine's Hair is awesome. I've gotten so many compliments on my cut and at a much lower price than my salon in FL where I used to live. Her salon is close to home thus convenient. Plus Lorraine is very nice. All around I'm happy I found Lorraine's Hair. read more

She is a good hairdresser.Personal character is a different issue. Complaining about so many clients she has to deal with, is it something a professional should do? If you happen to walk into salon right behind her do not count she would hold the door for you. It will close right in front of your face. Is it something anyone should do? Come to your own conclusion.... read more

She did a good job of trimming my hair. The haircut was reasonably priced and Lorraine was friendly and professional.

I went here because I remembered last year I got a simple hair cut and it was cheap. This is an old…read moresalon with old ladies who cut and style hair. They are also very nice. This is a low key salon where all the grandmas come and get their hair done. Today I came in and asked for a simple trim just to remove my split ends. I wasn't looking for anything special. She asked if I wanted her to blow dry my hair and I even said no it's okay. So I left with wet hair. When I asked how much it was for the hair cut she said $21 and something cents before tax... Oh my God! You're kidding right? Really?! I ended up giving her $25 and not asking for change. Sorry grandma, you've lost a customer... You're nice and all but if I'm gonna pay $25 for a simple trim I might as well take myself to a modern salon. Can't believe I got ripped off by grandma. Hahahaha

After making the appointment I stopped in to introduce myself to the stylist. She was not with a client and said she had 30 minutes until her next appointment. I asked if I could show her a picture of what I wanted, that I wanted to go short (radical change for me) but was nervous about it and wanted to make sure she felt confident about the cut since we had never met. She seemed friendly and said yes. The day of my haircut she cancelled my appointment saying she was offended that I stopped by the salon without an appointment for a consultation and that Should not have asked her if she felt confident about the cut. She stated on my voicemail that she did feel confident about the cut but "not for you" and stated she would never cut my hair. I am shocked. Incredibly rude and a personal attack
