To begin with, don't expect a good bedside manner from him. After seeing him a total of 4 times, the fifth time I went to see him, he couldn't even remember when I had surgery or what I was allergic to - I guess because he couldn't bother to look at my chart before he entered the room. Instead, I had to answer the same questions I had answered every other time I had seen him. Don't expect him to be honest about what to expect from this procedure, either. He told me I would be "uncomfortable" for 3 days after the surgery, and then I would be fine. That was not true. When I was being wheeled in to the operating room, one of the nurses told my husband it was one of the most painful surgeries around, and she wasn't fibbing. He will not give you any indication of what to expect while recovering, either. You will be spending lots of time rinsing your sinuses, using nasal saline, and taking other medications. Neither he or his staff will prepare you for all the aftercare procedures. He also has a bad habit of expecting you to read his mind. For instance, the paperwork he sent home with us said to rinse my sinuses at least twice a day. So, I did it three times a day. When I returned for my first visit after surgery, he accused my husband and I of lying - that I had not been rinsing. When we insisted I had, 3 times a day, he proceeded to inform us that that wasn't enough - we should have been doing it much more often - 6 or 8 times a day! I guess telling us late is better than not telling us at all. Also, I would avoid having the surgery on Friday. He has his practice take his calls on the weekends, and they don't have a clue. I'm giving him 2 stars instead of one because I think his surgical skills are good. The rest, however, needs improvement.

I underwent a primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Butler in July 2024. During my consultation, I clearly stated my two main goals: reducing my dorsal hump and lifting or rotating the nasal tip. Dr. Butler told me that my tip angle was already appropriate and that reducing the dorsal hump would cause the tip to "fix itself." Although I questioned this explanation, I trusted his professional judgment and proceeded with surgery. From the early postoperative period, it was evident that something was wrong. Even with the cast still on, my nasal tip appeared droopy and unsupported. I also want to note that no taping or support was ever used postoperatively to help maintain tip position. I was repeatedly reassured that this was normal and advised to "give it time." At cast removal, the issue became more apparent. Although swelling masked some of the deformity, my tip remained rotated downward, consistent with a developing pollybeak deformity. I again raised concerns and was told that all swelling had "settled into the tip" from the cast and that there was nothing to worry about. Between two and three months post-op, after moving out of state, I sent multiple emails to Dr. Butler's nurse expressing concern about my collapsed, downward-drooping tip and a prominent bump at the tip of my nose that appeared to be protruding cartilage. These concerns were again dismissed and attributed to swelling due to my being "very active," and I was told I would need to wait until six months post-op for evaluation. At my six-month in-person appointment, my appearance had not improved and had, in fact, worsened. I raised my concerns directly with Dr. Butler regarding the obvious pollybeak deformity. His response was dismissive; he stated, "Someone's been online, haven't they," and told me that my nose looked great and that he "wouldn't have changed a thing." No revision, corrective plan, or financial accommodation was offered. Following this appointment, I consulted with three well-known U.S. revision rhinoplasty specialists, all of whom independently confirmed a clear pollybeak deformity, a droopy and under-rotated tip, and protruding cartilage irregularities. Ultimately, I required revision rhinoplasty at fifteen months post-op, at an additional cost of $15,000. Several months after my surgery, I reviewed the practice's website and was shocked to find my photos being used in a misleading manner. Although I signed a photo release, I did not consent to false or deceptive representation. The photo labeled as my "before" image is actually my six-month post-op result, while the photo labeled as my "after" image appears to be taken within the first month post-op, when swelling temporarily obscured the deformity. The website claims the "after" photo was taken at four months post-op, despite me not having a four-month appointment. If my nose truly "looked great," it is concerning that my unsatisfactory six-month result was used as a "before" image. I have attached screenshots and accurate before-and-after photos for reference. I reached out to the office to express my concerns regarding my postoperative care and the misleading use of my photos and received no response. I am sharing my experience so that others can make a fully informed decision and avoid the physical, emotional, and financial distress that I endured.

A…read morelittle problem recently occurred with the dome on one of her hearing aids coming off and lodging inside her ear canal. It didn't hurt but it was some what bothersome. All the Doctor offices are closed so we opt for the local emergency room. We live in a town of 5000 and are fortunate to have an ER. The Dr in attendance tonight tries unsuccessfully to pull it out. Ends up inflaming the ear canal lining rubbing tools against the lining. To his credit he did his best but just didnt have the tools to do the job. He gives her a pain tablet and refers her to an ENT. As we leave he is willing to try some more but we leave and settle in for the night. Pain pill does it's job. The next morning we call Premier Medical and they have us come on in. After a 75 minute drive we arrive and have very little waiting time. We get to see Dr Kimberly Elliot. Dr Elliot has the dome out in less than 30 seconds. Excellent bedside manners and knew what she was doing. Also she had the tools/instruments to work the dome out. I recommend Dr Elliot for all ENT events in the future.
