This USA Gasoline was a much better experience for me than the one on Ventura Ave. it's worth the further drive to this location that offers contactless payments at the pump. The only bad part is that there was a transient woman shouting across the street. I honestly didn't listen to what she was shouting about because she was making any sense. Then while I was pumping gas a man walked up to me and asked if I would buy his toolbox or tools off of him. I told him I wasn't interested and the man at the pump next to me told the man to try the pawn shop but the man said the pawn shop would only give him $10. So there's that but at least I got my gas and was able to pay via contactless payment. read more

This is my go to gas station in Ventura. I notice several 1 star reviews recently, which seems strange. The gas is usually the lowest price in the area, there is almost always an open pump, the staff are pleasant (on the few occasions I've needed their help) and the squeegee for washing your windows are in good shape. DO NOT GET GAS HERE!!! EVER!! Parked at the pump, paid with $100 bill, asked for $60 on 2. Guy gives me $40 change. I go to pump and it gets to $2.09, turns off. I keep trying to get it to go, but it's obvious the attendant turned it off. I go up to ask what's going on, clerk tells me "I can't take your $100, it won't go in my safe. Can you bring me back the $40 change I gave you?" Why wouldn't you test this before giving me the change?! Now I'm highly suspicious that this $100 is fake. How do I know he didn't switch it out and scam me?!! Against my better judgment, I went to give him back the $40 but he continued to hold onto the $100, was playing games with me! I told him "I don't even know if that's my $100!" His response: "it's real, I can tell by looking at it." I ask for the manager and he says "I'm the manager!" UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE. I am beyond livid and now on my way to the bank to find out if this bill is even real. I'm now thinking I should have called the police to handle this. Extremely shady gas station! Sheesh, lots of complaints on this location, but I have been using their pumps for years, no problem. Occasionally, there is a glitch with the pumps, but who hasn't had a glitch? The price is usually the best in the neighborhood, and I can find a pump, no waiting. Quick and easy fill upstairs with windshield squeegee available. read more

Usually I have no issues with this gas station whenever I go there. This time, as I am filling my car with gasoline, I noticed that the door that encases the credit card reader was slightly ajar and the seal had been tampered with. I looked on the other side to the other pumps and noticed that one of two seals was missing on some of them. I asked the young man who is working there if he would mind giving me the name and phone number of the manager/owner. He refused to give it to me. I called the nonemergency number for the police to report it, and they told me I would have to tell the employee first and they would have to call the police. So I suggested that the employee might be in on the whole scam. read more

I normally don't have any issues when going into a gas station but besides the fact the employees that were working their told me I couldn't come in. I was shocked because they didn't say anything when I had been in their already for 3 minutes when I was looking to see what Energy drink flavor I wanted. So then they want to tell me to leave. If I could I would give them no stars. Because of the fact what does it matter if I was in their looking to see what I wanted. Also it isn't my problem that the employees weren't wearing masks. They shouldn't deny someone entry. If they don't want customers to come in the door to the gas station to come inside should not be open and there should be a sign saying employees only. In the last few months, why is it that the pumps accept my debit card, authorize it, and then the screen says "see the cashier"? This has happened more than half the times I've been there recently. When you finally "see" the cashier, they're inevitably rude. The one yesterday said about that screen notice, "it happens sometimes" without any explanation. It seems, based on other reviews, that when the attendant takes a break without any sign or notice that says so, they turn off the pumps? And the gas costs more than at other stations. As far as gas stations go, this is by far my go to fuel stop, due to the fact that the pumps are spaced far apart, the lot itself it wide and doesn't give you the crowded feeling that other gas stations do. I notice this station gets very busy around 5:00 at night, so I try to avoid it at this time, but other than that I really have no issues with this station as a whole. The attendants always seem pleasant. This station takes debit/Credit at the pump , but depending on your bank you may not see it show up on your account for several days, but it will show up so don't worry. My friends ask me why I don't go down the road to the competitor, and while the prices may be 10 cents cheaper, I opt to spend the extra money and not worry about clogged up parking lots and heavy traffic. All in all a good gas station with lower prices that higher end gas stations in the area. read more

This guy working today August 22,2022 at 12 noon was the biggest jerk I have ever seen working at a gas station. He took a long time to come to window to take money, and then when I went back for change it took him a good 10 minutes to give back change. There was no sign saying he was on a break or in the restroom. He had a horrible attitude. I will not be going back, and will be informing my friends and family. I seriously can't believe this gas station!! Don't ever depend on getting gas here I'm warning you .I live a few blocks from this station and I kid you not they are closed more often than there open . I'm talking all hours of the day more times than not I pull in to this station only to be met with a sign in there window informing me that there closed for this reason or that ! I am being 100% honest when I say to you that 75% of the time I have to go down the street to the 76 station because this one is closed temporarily again we're talking all through out the day . I have never seen any other business closed randomly like this one ! It's been a on going problem now for about the last 6 months.Even when your lucky enough to actually find it open you have to knock on the glass window forever to get the attention of the worker to come from the back room so you can pay ! Well, I did not win the Wednesday Powerball drawing. I know, I know- I'm just as shocked as you are. I had plans! Big plans to get out from under the crippling student loan debt and become a more productive member of society. That is a lot of cash to become productive with. Alas, life is just like it was Tuesday, before I decided to become a millionaire. USA sells gas, often much cheaper than nationally recognized brands. They also allow the lazier or infirm among us the ability to drive right up to the door and purchase various sundries. I myself, am not lazy or infirm but sometimes my 185 pound daily companion is possessed by demons and needs to be contained for safety to the general public. My husband and I stopped here for gas today. While filling the tank my husband cleaned the windows on the car with the provided window squeegee and lastly was wiping off the dirty headlights. Suddenly the attendant came walking up to him briskly stating, "you can wash your car up the street and the squeegee is here for everyone!" We tried to respond and the guy very rudely ignored us and walked away. My husband finished pumping his close to $65 in gas we purchased..which was filling as he cleaned the windows. On our way out we stopped to talk with the attendant. He was still rude and did not apologize at all. We will not be using this station in the future and encourage others to avoid it! Completely unappreciative of the business and we did nothing wrong....just plain rude to us for no apparent reason. read more

A little more pricier than arco but only by a couple of cents and it's closer to me so I just go here and I like it. It's never crowded and paying with debit card at the pump doesn't charge me like arco does. If there was a no stars that would be my vote the worker was lazy. Half ass offered but never came out of his booth to assist me and despite two different credit cards both of which have funds, the machine would not work. The demeanor of the worker alone will prevent me from ever going to this gas station again. "Silva" off Victoria far superior and always works. Better prices too. read more
