The owner didn't mention ay additional charges. When I went to the shop , the owner told me I need to pay additional $40 dollars for oil recycling which is not mentioned on the groupon website. I told him I can accept the charge and I need the receipt with the $40 additional charge to follow up with groupon about it. The owner said I am not interested in the deal anymore and asked me to leave and get a refund from groupon. I also noticed the owner increased the break fluid flush price on groupon from $160 to $240 after I left the shop today. It's a really bad experience for customers that the owner can change his mind and reject the service. Update for owner's review below "a vehicle that is directly not covered in the advertisement" , groupon adversisement doesn't mention any special vehicle price. After the owner told me to charge additional $40, I was confused and later accepted the charge while telling him to get the receipt for reference then I can follow up with groupon. After that, the owner refused to do the service. I guess the owner don't want his practice to be exposed to groupon. The owner could have listed the additional charge on the groupon website in the beginning to let customers be clear about all the cost. " TheThe individual came in with a vehicle that is directly not covered in the advertisement. That alone is huge, because a lot of places make you feel rushed or like you're being talked over--but not here. They were upfront about pricing, didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary, and got the work done quickly without cutting corners. You can tell they've been doing this for a long time and actually care about their customers and their reputation. What stood out the most to me was how honest and straightforward they were. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but this is definitely one of those places. If you need a smog check, repair, or even just an inspection, I would 100% recommend giving them a shot. I called one place, told them I failed my smog check, got a read out of what was wrong, but was met with a "oh we need to run another diagnostic and charge $300, not including the smoke tests." I called Willow Glen Auto Electric and they as told they charge $149 for the smoke tests. Went in, provided the read out from the smog test and they found the leak in my purge valve. I was quoted roughly $215 for the part and labor. Tony, the mechanic that worked on my car showed me the part that was faulty and how it was leaking slowly. Showed the same test to me with the new part and finished the job in no matter of time. After fixing the faulty purge valve, they told me to come back after driving 50-100 miles to see if my vehicle was still throwing the code. Came back a week later, they plugged in the code reader and it was working perfectly! I would recommend everyone come here for your EVAP and mechanical needs. They are friendly, honest and get the job done.

We've been taking our BMWs (we've had 2) to the dealership because it's just very simple and straightforward. But, after our warranty ended and feeling like we should shop around a little bit for service/price since the dealership can cost more, really glad we found this shop. Have worked with both Michael and Dennis and they've been really helpful and thorough. Michael spent 15minutes with me at least to help me understand what needed to be done and estimated cost and Dennis helped check if something were under my warranty. I feel so much better finding this shop and not feeling ripped off and being able to ask all of the stupid questions without feeling like I'm wasting someone's time.
