I was going to order an A2 flight jacket, but I made the mistake of asking about their presidents collection ,and why it did not have any of our former living presidents featured. This devolved by the owner into, read a book about me, and what a hero, to calling me and my friends sick and needing to see a doctor. I tried to converse via E-Mail, and the guy who Id himself as a former person in the army and former Chief of Police in Ohio, continued to call me a sicko and to see a doctor. I decided on another company, that had no complaints and good customer service. To me it is obvious there is some mental illness. Do not waste time with this company. I blocked him from E-Mailing me. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a leather jacket from US Wings in September 2023. Two weeks later, the jacket had not been shipped. I had to contact US Wings twice by email and once by phone before being told the jacket was on back order. I received the jacket in early October. I took it out of the box, tried it on, and decided it wasn't for me. I returned the jacket in its original box and plastic. (BTW US Wings makes the customer pay for the return shipping). After a week or so, I'd heard nothing about my refund. Again I contacted US Wings via email only to discover that they will only issue an e-gift Certificate if you return a product without the original tags attached. THE PROBLEM IS there were never any tags attached to the jacket. Now I'm out $295, plus shipping, plus I don't want an e-gift card. I've escalated this issue with my bank. Furthermore, I'm going to the BBB. Buyer... do yourself a favor and read the other reviews here and on the BBB site. What I'm describing is a common US Wings practice. Finally, it's sad to me that a small US company acts like this. It's also pathetic that I have to go to a huge corporate bank to get any kind of justice. Sgt. Just bought my 2nd jacket from Sergeant Hack. It was a very good investment. The Indy jacket in Cape Buffalo leather. The fit is a bit tight because the jackets from the 30s were slightly tapwred but this isnt a problem. It will stretch with time. I highly recommend US Wings for anyone looking for classic vintage outerwear. Sergeant Hack will not steer you wrong. read more

Purchased the leather adventurer bag (10x10x3) from US Wings online. The bag pictured on their website looks impressive and sturdy. However, when I received the item, it looks nothing like what's pictured! The leather was flimsy / paper-thin, and the strap was just a stiff strip of raw leather that's unfinished without any stitching (as pictured). Overall, the bag was terribly constructed. Is this really made in the USA? I have leather bags from China and India that are way better quality and for a fraction of the price (just check Amazon or Etsy)! Come on guys, you can do better! I am extremely disappointed and would not buy from US Wings online again - perhaps their retail store is better. Anyway, I hope this review helps you all to avoid them. I ordered a new N3B parka from US Wings while serving overseas. I a received a very USED/FILTHY N3B instead. Clearly the US Wings warhorse person decided to just put their used coat in my box and keep mine for themselves. Despite multiple Emails and phone calls I was met with silence and no help from the company--which didn't even investigate. I was out my money and never received the coat I ordered and finally just gave up (which is what they were counting on). This is a very unethical company and anyone should just look at their BBB ratings and reviews to see the complaints for themselves. Steer clear. Ordered and paid for a Cooper Modern A2 jacket on 11/03/21, waited a month to receive it and it was defective right out of the shipping box. The stitching was loose on the shoulder epaulet. Returned it to US Wings and waited another month only to receive a defective jacket as a replacement. The collar was gouged, and the leather was torn and peeling off. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and US Wings responded untruthfully, saying the first jacket was fine (which is false!) and not mentioning anything about the defective replacement. I finally decided it was not worth the aggravation to argue with US Wings, so I just donated the jacket to my local Goodwill Center. If you order from US Wings, buyer beware! If you get a good product, you're fine. But if US Wings sends you anything defective, good luck trying to get them to own up and take responsibility. I agree with John P as the jacket shown on their site differs from what I received. My jacket has a snap down collar which is not shown in their photo. There is no snap at the top or bottom of the jacket. Jacket fits good but the sleeves cover my whole hand with fingers pointing down. The jacket does not match the color shown on the website and doesn't look like John P's either. Ordered jacket on April 9, 2019 and received it on May 31, 2019. Stopped at the retail shop today. Purchased the "Indy" jacket and am well pleased with the look and quality. The price was good, and received a veterans discount as well. Then the staff included a hat and a book at no extra charge. Met the owner and had a wonderful conversation with him. It was a great experience and I have nothing negative to say. This is one of the worst businesses on the internet, (and that says a lot). Got one of their jackets as a gift and the return policy had expired before the jacket got to me. Now I'm stuck with the wrong style of jacket that doesn't even fit. Talked to customer service and explained that jacket was still new if box with tags and not even out of protective wrap, but was told too bad no exceptions to return policy. All I wanted was to exchange jacket for one that fits and was the right style. If you're going to do business on the internet, I would rank this company just below the people who e-mail you with offers to put money in your bank account from overseas, because at least they are friendly while they are ripping you off I wish I could give this business less than one star!! I ordered the Signature Series Vintage Cowhide Indy-Style Adventurer Jacket, size XLT and was very disappointed with the product shipped. I have attached photos to illustrate that the snaps at the top and bottom of the zipper wind flap are missing. Also it would appear the 2 separate SKU numbers on the jacket DO match each other, but, they DO NOT match what is on the paper receipt included in the shipping box, nor the US WINGS website so I emailed customer service. The jacket is also much lighter in color than depicted and looks the same all over the entire jacket. I have included photos from The US WINGS website and this was what I expected the jacket to look like. The color in these 4 photos varies over the entire jacket and looks "older". I asked to exchange the jacket I received on order #46264 for one that has the wind flap snaps and looks like the 4 pictures posted on the US WINGS website. I was told that "The color variations will appear in the jacket the more it is worn". With all respect, I find their explanation of the color difference un-acceptable because that would imply that the first 4 photos of the jacket on their website had been taken after weeks, months, or even years of wear and I find that idea absurd on its face. I understand no two cows are going to be the same & I'm not a leather expert, but I would suggest that the tanning process has changed since those 4 photos were taken and posted on their website. I offered to keep the jacket "as is" at a discounted price and was told to ship the jacket back to them. I thanked them for their consideration and advised I will be mailing the jacket back to them on 4/19/19 and expect that US WINGS will be paying for the return shipping of the defective merchandise, and that I expect a FULL refund. Aside from the color, the jacket is beautiful, but I encouraged them to remove the first 4 photos from the jackets description since the product they are shipping looks nothing like them and is misleading customers. I advised I will be posting my review shortly, on YELP and told customer service that I purchased 3 Cockpit Jackets from US WINGS about 13 to 14 years ago, the SECOND CHANCE A-2 Pinup girl, the RAF Bomber, and the WWII Tanker jacket, and that I was sorry we are not able to complete this transaction. The owner became involved and emailed me directly and referred me to his lawyer and said I was trying to extort him! If you can no longer consistently produce jackets like the first 4 photos on your website, then they should be removed from the website...period. The owner made no attempt to replace the product or suggest a different type of leather for the same style etc and was rude in the several emails he sent to me. Please allow your customer service department to do their job since it appears that "customer service" is not in your wheel house. read more

I was so thrilled with my new US WINGS US AIR FORCE A2 leather flight jacket that I purchased a beautiful US NAVY G1 leather flight jacket a couple of weeks later ! Their stunning looking jackets and I will treasure them for years. If your finicky and have to own a very fine garment that is a true representation of a UNITED STATES military issue flight jacket with a proud history behind it , the US WINGS products should be one of your top condiderations on your shopping list . Most pilots are familiar with US Wings because of their leather jackets and other aviation accessories. I had a great experience their customer service when I needed to exchange a jacket. I was given a leather jacket in the summer, but unfortunately it was the wrong one. After moving cross country and starting a new job, I finally got around to exchanging it. The woman on the phone was very nice, and the lady working the register was extremely helpful when I went into the retail store. I love their products, and will definitely use them in the future.
