I had a package shipped from this post office to Russia.
I was presented with different options and I picked the one to have it delivered in 3 to 5 days, which was considerably more expensive than the other ones.
I paid $105 and that was for a small box with a lego set and one piece of clothing. Not heavy, 3 lbs.
It arrived in 20 days, so naturally I went back to see if I can be refunded the difference between what it would've cost between 3-5 days and 20 days.
The worker went back to check the history of this shipment and came back with a paper that shows that my box arrived in Moscow in 6 days and told me it was held in the customs and it's not their fault if the Russian post fault.
First of all, the final destination was in the city of Chelyabinsk, which is more than 1000 miles from Moscow, and second, I paid my money to the post office here in York, it is their responsibility to deliver this item.
I'm not even Russian, I don't know what they are excusing themselves for not doing what I paid for.
Remember, I paid for 3-5 days delivery. They took it half the way in 6 days, and in their opinion that was enough.
And this was in the month of June 2021. Nothing happened on that month like Black Friday or Christmas.
No partial refund was provided.
They just basically stole my money, and that's not ok. read more
