Decent enough post office just off of Interstate 10. I was able to get in and get my package in the mail and get back on the road. All in all, not a bad post office and I was able to get my package in the mail. However, be advised that they move very slowly and offering any customer service is definitely not a priority. I waited a few minutes for two employees to stop talking to begin to assist me and then after I paid and my receipt was dangling on the machine after paying, the person at the desk still felt it more important to stand up and stretch and and look at her phone than take the split second to hand me my receipt. read more

Stolen package!! Dropped a package off to ship and they never scanned it in. It stood out like a soar thumb so I know it was not lost.

They are rude and I always have the "attempted delivery" but my doorbell NEVER rang and my door never knocked!

We must have the worst postal carrier ever! Our Theodore, AL post office claims to attempt delivery of packages, but he does not. He, at one time, would put slips in our mailbox saying attempted delivery when I am home and NO ATTEMPT is made. I sign the slips and also go online to schedule the "re-delivery". I even get notifications that the packages will be delivered on the scheduled date, but they never are. I have told them I will come out and get the packages if he will just blow his horn, he won't even come down the driveway and has NEVER blown his horn. I have called several times and asked to talk with the postmaster, am always promised she will call, but she never has. Now the carrier will not even put a slip in the mailbox. They just send the packages back to the merchant. I feel badly for the merchants and their extra costs. I have no way of knowing how the packages are being shipped when ordering or I wouldn't order when USPS is the method. We never have issues with Fed Ex or UPS. If our local post offices were run privately, I would be getting my packages. The postmaster is to blame, with her leadership, I am sure the performance of this post office will continue to deteriorate. Yet again the tax payers pay the price for their incompetence. read more

We have a Female Postal employee and I deliver our Mail. Is it a usual practice for post personal to blow their horn in your driveway to come get mail that is delivered to you? She does this frequently .she says she has back issues and was told to honk twice for resident to come and get their mail... I am not always available to do this... Not my favorite USPS location, as they aren't very fast or friendly. I've been here twice in a week and everyone was grumpy.

Having prepaid packages always makes it easier to get in and out in a matter of seconds... ahead of everyone else in line. This place was super busy too. read more
